It appears that there has been whining from those who support plans for a mosque in Chipping Norton and whose plans were thwarted by a combination of a town council decision to refuse permission and an eruption of public anger after West Oxfordshire District Council overrode the refusal decision and told Chipping Norton that they had to let the plans go through. Anger blew up at this corruption of democracy by West Oxfordshire District Council members and regrettably threats were made to the potential landlord of the premises. Either that or there was no threat and the landlord realised that letting his premises to the local bearded savages would make him a very unpopular man about town.

Plans to build a mosque in the scenic Cotswolds market town of Chipping Norton have been scrapped after site’s landlord was threatened.
Mr Wissinter told reporters: “Someone rang up and said if you go ahead with the mosque then it will get very hot. They were saying they would burn it down. “I have got people in the flat above [the proposed mosque]. I cannot take the risk.”
Town councilor Tahirul Hasan said a new site is now being sought.”
May I suggest that a suitable location for Cllr Hasan’s mosque would be where it would be welcomed, a place for example like Bangladesh.
“West Oxfordshire District Council, which granted planning permission for the mosque, received 28 letters of objection to the scheme and two in support, according to the Oxford Mail.
One objector reportedly said: “Chipping Norton is the quintessential English market town and as such it is attractive to tourists and visitors and most who live here. “I would wish this English character to be preserved.”

– Colossians 3:22-24 – Slaves need to obey their masters.
– Ephesians 6:5 – Slaves need to obey their masters just as they would obey Christ.
– 1 Peter 2:18 – Slaves need to obey their masters, even if their masters are harsh .
