This assessment of how the Guardian would cover the journey of the Hobbits to destroy the One Ring is absolutely spot on.  The only thing missing is Seamus (Shamless Bilge) Milne following up the rear banging on about how the Orcs were victims of capitalism and how Stalin was a nice bloke really.
