Come on Tim! Give ’em hell.

Fiyaz T shirt part done2

Although I cannot be at the protest on the 8th April to support the writer, broadcaster and campaigner Tim Burton at Birmingham Magistrates today, that doesn’t mean that he will not be in my thoughts.

Mr Burton is being brought to trial because of a complaint by the notorious mendacious grievance mongering taqiyya artist, Fiyaz Mughal, because Mr Burton called Mr Mughal a ‘mendacious grievance mongering taqiyya artist’.

Even though this is only an appearance at a lower court it should not be forgotten that this is an important trial with serious free speech implications for the future.

  1. I thought it was on the 8th, tomorrow?

Yep my mistake, my mind must have been in the wrong timezone. Will correct later

  2. Thanks for all your support – I feel honoured and humbled to have had the support of so many fine people, including yourself, on the run-up to this trial.

I will make sure you have a full account of the trial – straight from the horse’s mouth – always provided that I haven’t been detained at Her Majesty’s pleasure in the meantime.

    Regards, Tim

Tim, please reign victorious ~ I don’t want to do our shows alone. All the best, we’ll all be there in spirit.

Fahrenheit 211, thank you so much for all your support and encouragement for our valued commodity of free speech.

Good luck Tim. The truth should always be the ultimate defence. Please keep us posted.

  3. When free speech dies so does liberty. Our ancestors fought long and hard for that which many nowadays take for granted. No matter what you say, somebody somewhere may be offended and so the only way around that is to have no opinion on anything, lest somebody is offended. No,the majority of people who always seem to be permanently offended are the muslims.Well,I’m offended that they are always offended,so what do they say to that? How someone can be charged for speaking the truth is beyond me,but in this world where right is wrong and wrong is now right, why am I not suprised. My prayers are with you,Tim!

  4. Best of British luck Tim

  5. Any news yet on Tim yet? I am hoping no update means he’s having a drink in the local. I hope so.

I read the Telegraph, re Mughal v Gilligan. Crikey, there are still some honest investigative journalists left in the UK. Well done to Gilligan.

I’ve heard no news as yet but the discrediting of TM cannot but help reduce even further the credibillty of Fiyaz Mughal.

    Hoping for the best.

Egg on face for the TM team, deservedly so. Not accounting for their treatment of others over the last few years, has been an absolute disgrace. Their affiliations are even worse. Only a mindless idiot would stand with them.

    • Fahrenheit211 | April 8, 2014 at 3:25 pm |

Either a mindless idiot or a useful idiot like Mr Tatchell. I wonder if Peter Tatchell is feeling a bit sheepish over supporting this bunch of liars?

Nah, water off a ducks back.

  8. Omg. I am so happy to hear about Tim. Been worrying all day but now can go to bed knowing he is okay.

  11. Tim, like I said, I had no faith in the system that allowed you to face charges in the first place but am so happy and relieved of the news. May the hate-mongering, taqiyya artist that spewed lies about you rot in the bowels of hell for eternity. Meanwhile, as I cheer for you from across the pond, I tip bsck a bottle of Samuel Smith’s Chocolate Stout in a celebratory toast to your victory.

  12. Correction! I tip back a bottle of Samuel Smith’s Chocolate Stout in a celebratory toast to your victory. I guess I shouldn’t type while drinking a beer eh?
