From elsewhere: Possible deliberate ramming attack on Sikh EDL supporters

The Birmingham Mail has a very disturbing story of an allegedly deliberate attack by a car driver on a group of Sikh EDL supporters outside a pub in Wolverhampton.

The driver was reported to have deliberately aimed his car at the thickest part of a crowd of people outside the pub.

The Birmingham Mail in an article on the attack said:

“Police are investigating claims that an alleged hit-and-run driver targeted a group of men outside a pub because they were members of the right-wing English Defence League.

A Ford Focus car was driven through the 15-strong crowd outside a Wolverhampton pub severely injuring one man.

The Sunday Mercury understands the 40-year-old Asian victim is a leading member of the EDL’s controversial Sikh Division.

Social media messages on EDL websites were full of praise for Jag Singh, from Wolverhampton, who suffered spinal injuries and a broken leg.

Mr Singh is a long-standing EDL supporter and regularly attends the extremist group’s demos and meetings up and down the country, EDL monitoring sites have claimed.

The turban-wearing father is lauded by the EDL as proof that it is not racist and instead is only opposed to Islamic extremists.”

I don’t know about you but I was disgusted by the reporters description of the EDL as ‘far right’ whereas the far left views of the EDL’s opponents ‘EDL News’ were left unmentioned.  Just because a groups says that they are politically unaffiliated, as EDL News does, doesn’t mean that this is the truth.

The Birmingham Mail added:

“Detectives have arrested two people. A 47-year-old man was detained shortly afterwards while a 26-year-old man was arrested days later on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.

Both have been bailed pending further inquiries.”

Aha! It’s our old friend ‘the persons of no appearance’ again.  It will be interesting to see what community this alleged offender comes from.  I would be very surprised to hear that they are just common or garden violent nutters and not connected in someway to either the Left or Islam.  The target and the violence scream Islam or Lefties to me and we will have to wait for the court appearances for conformation.  That’s if they get to court that is and the police don’t ‘lose’ vital paperwork or deliberately screw up for ‘community cohesion reasons’.

If anyone has any information about this incident that they wish to put into the public domain that may either prod the police into taking this seriously and not filing it in the round filing cabinet, or which make journalists a bit more honest in their reporting of incidents like this, then please get in touch via the email address on the ‘contact’ page.

This looks very much like a deliberate attack on Sikh supporters of the EDL and must not be allowed to be forgotten or swept under the carpet by those who wish to pander to Islam.   Birmingham has a serious and ongoing Jihadi and Islamist problem about which there is a growing body of evidence.  Is this latest incident an escalation into street violence by violent elements from the Islamic community?  If it is then we all need to be told about it and not be lied to by police, the judicial system or by the press.
