No s**t Sherlock – Alliance for Workers Liberty supporter shows his naivety.

If there was a scale from one to ten measuring naivety then Daniel Randall writing on the Alliance for Workers Liberty website must surely be up there on 8 or 9. However a score of 10 on this scale should really be reserved for the first non-Muslim person group which used the phrase ‘Islam is a religion of peace’,

Despite many of us seeing anti-semitic material at various demonstrations connected to the Left wing response to Israel’s various defensive actions against diverse forms of Jiahdi savagery, Mr Randall appears shocked that Muslims and Jew hating fraggles appear to be bedfellows. Where has Mr Randall been for the last ten or so years? Has he not noticed the rise in Islamic Jew hatred, that has been given a free pass by much of the Left? Has he not encountered the mentalist Islamic conspiracy theories that blames all the self inflicted problems of the Islamic world on Jews? Has he not sat in dusty meeting halls being addressed by socialists who pick out the worlds only Jewish state for particular opprobrium but who ignore the greater crimes of the world’s Islamic cess pits?

If Mr Randall has not experienced or read about such things then all I can say is he must go through life with his eyes shut and with stoppers in his ears.

Here are some selections from his piece from the AWL website with my comments in plain text.

Mr Randall was confronted by a anti-Semitic nutcase promoting the Tsarist forgery, The Protocols of the Elders Of Zion. He challenged him and appeared shocked that a demonstration dominated by Islamic groups and Islamic interests, including those individuals flying flags of the terrorist group Hezbollah, which is banned in Britain, contained people who supported a person promoting the Protocols.

Mr Randall said:

“On the 26 July London demonstration against Israel’s assault on Gaza, I confronted a man who was carrying a placard which read “Research: The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion”, with an image of a Star of David, dripping blood, with “666” in the centre.

Firstly I’d like to take issue with the word ‘assault’ in this context. Before Israel embarked on Operation Protective Edge, the only assaults going on were the constant rocket attacks coming from the genocide promoters of Hamas. Secondly I’d like to ask what planet Mr Randall is on if he is surprised that a demonstration in support of Hamas contains Jew hatred like this?

Mr Randall added:

I told the man that racism had no place on the demonstration, that his presence harmed the Palestinian cause, and that the document he was promoting was a racist hoax. In the course of what was probably a not a very coherent tirade from me, I mentioned that I was Jewish.

“Well, you’re blinded by your bias because you’re a Jew”, he said. “Only Jews make the arguments you’re making.”

The ‘Palestinian’ cause was lost the first of the many times they’ve been offered peace, often on very advantageous terms, only to turn it down or screw it up in some other way. I love the cognitive confusion in Mr Randall’s comment about how there was no place for racism on this demonstration. Why would there not be, would be my question. Look it at this way Mr Randall, you are marching with thousands of Israel-hating Left wing activists and with Muslims who have haboured a burning hatred for Jews since the days of Mohammed the Nonce, and you dont’ expect to see racism? That is an incredibly naïve attitude to take, it really is.

To not expect rabid and often Islam-inspired anti-Semitism at anti Israel demos is as pointless as expecting to get given a bacon sandwich at your local Rabbi’s house. Jew hatred, Islam and the British political Left are now sadly wedded together in a deathly embrace, well deathly for the Left anyway.

I have to laugh at the naivety of Mr Randall, he approached a person publicly aligning himself with Jew-hatred and expects them to rethink their view because Mr Randall tells the Protocols dude that he’s Jewish. What else did he expect but aggro? Reading Mr Randall’s description of his experiences reminded me of the pre-crucifixion scene in Monty Python’s Life of Brian, where an unworldly ‘Good Samaritan’ character helps to carry the cross of someone sentenced to crucifixion only to find himself lumbered with the cross and on his way to execution, after the condemned prisoner runs off. Mr Randall has shown a similar level of bemusement and delusion.

Mr Randall continued:

“Thereafter the “discussion” became more heated, and several onlookers were drawn in. Several people backed me up, but several defended him.

Their defences ranged from, “he’s opposing Zionists, not Jews”, to “he’s not racist, Zionism is racist!”, to the perhaps more honest “Jews are the problem. If you’re a Jew, you’re racist, you’re what we’re demonstrating against.” One man, topless, but wearing a balaclava, said “fuck off, unless you want your fucking head kicked in.”

Methinks that Mr Randall has had a rude awakening to the true nature of much of the Islam-Left alliance in Britain today.

Later on in the AWL piece Mr Randall said:

“Explicit anti-Jewish racism of the kind displayed on the man’s placard has been relatively rare on Palestine solidarity demonstrations in Britain. But the fact that it was present at all, and that it could find even a handful of defenders in a crowd of other demonstrators, is deeply worrying. Pointing to its rarity, and dismissing the problem as restricted solely to fringe elements, would bury one’s head in the sand. As recent events in France and Germany have shown, it is an undeniable fact that there are anti-Semites in the global Palestine solidarity movement, and ones prepared to violently express their anti-Semitism. That must not be allowed to infect the movement in Britain.

I don’t know how easy a ride the man and his placard had on the demonstration before myself and others confronted him. Had official stewards of the march seen the placard, and challenged him? Perhaps he’d spent all day under attack from other demonstrators; I hope so. But when I found him, he was perfectly at his ease, and, as it turned out, surrounded by friends. That is a disappointment. If people with such politics want to attend solidarity demonstrations to peddle them, they should find themselves isolated, and face constant harangue. They shouldn’t be entitled to a moment’s peace.

What do you mean ‘relatively rarely’? I recall watching the huge 2003 February march that was called to protest the then proposed intervention into Iraq, and even then there were placards calling for the destruction of the State of Israel and Muslims selling anti-Semitic books and pamphlets. How could Mr Randall call at least a decade of Islam-Left alliance demonstrations containing anti-Semitic memes, organisations and publications something that is relatively rare?

At least he is now admitting that this problem is not confined to fring elements and is growing but if he has only just noticed the propensity to hate others, especially Jews, that the Islam-Left alliance has, then all I can say is that he has been very unobservant of the world around him.

I hope this guy wakes up and realises that he’s boarded the wrong political bus and that many of those Muslims who he is currently marching with will do to British socialists what the Iranian Mullah’s did to Iranian socialists.

Mr Randall has been breathtaking in his naiveity about the extent of the problematic attitudes of Britain’s Islamo-Left.

The problem is not as bad as he sees, it is many orders of magnitude worse.

I’d like to thank the pro-Israel blog ‘Elder of Ziyon’ for alerting me to this AWL piece. Included in the EoZ article from which the linked AWL article came from is a summary of the current round of violence that is coming from the Islam – Left alliance and which is aimed at Jewish ciizens in France, Britain and Germany among other places.

  1. Truly he left and islamists have forged an unholy alliance over Israel and their desire to see it wiped from the face of the Earth. That this naive idiot couldn’t see this until last weekend suggests that he is of the moronic left that infests much of this land.

  2. The Protocols, swastikas daubed on synagogues, anti-Semitic thugs threatening violence on the streets. As Churchill said “When the fascists return, they will be posing as anti-fascists.”

  3. It is dickheads like this guy that are allowing these people to get away with what he did.

I talking about being stupid, these people are only stupid when it comes to others. I doubt any leftie would have the balls to tell a group like this they are Jewish. Suicidal he ain’t, stupid and willing to sacrifice others Yes but himself no way.

It’s people like that that will bring us all down.
