If a Muslim cannot condemn the beheadings, mass rapes, oppression and terror inflicted by the Jihadis of ISIS then it is pretty safe to assume that he or she approves of such behaviour in some way.
There is an excellent article in the Sydney Morning Herald about an interview on Australia’s ABC television station with the Hizb ut Tahrir representative, Wassim Doureihi.
Doureihi, dressed in a suit and trying hard to look and sound civilised, found himself very hard pressed on the issue of Islamic terror in Iraq and Syria by the interviewer Emma Alberici.
This is what the Sydney Morning Herald said:
“Prime Minister Tony Abbott has applauded Lateline host Emma Alberici over a fiery TV exchange with a spokesman for the radical Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir.
Wassim Doureihi appeared on Wednesday night’s episode after Mr Abbott earlier in the day said the group “campaigns against Australian values and interests”.
After a relatively subdued start to the ABC interview, Mr Doureihi repeatedly dodged questions about whether Hizb ut-Tahrir supported the “murderous campaign’ waged by Islamic State extremists. Hizb ut-Tahrir has previously dubbed Islamic State as an “armed group which only represents itself”.
But Mr Doureihi repeatedly refused to condemn Islamic State’s actions, despite dogged questioning by Alberici.
At one point, the Lateline host asked: “Are you outraged by the image of an Australian-born child of seven-years-old holding up severed heads like trophies in Iraq or Syria?”
Typically for a Bearded Savage, Doureihi slipped and evaded direct questions about Islamic terror and as is normal for these types, blamed the free world for the problems that beset the Islamic world.
The Sydney Morning Herald continued:
“Mr Doureihi replied: “Let me tell you what I am outraged by,” before an angry Alberici admonished him for avoiding the question.
Instead of answering further questions about Islamic State’s conduct, Mr Doureihi repeatedly railed against Western governments and the media.
Towards the end of the interview, an exasperated Alberici said: “Can you do me a favour? But will you do me a favour and answer one question?”
Mr Doureihi replied: “I’m doing the public a great favour by refocusing this discussion where it needs to be.”
The pair argued for the bulk of the 11-minute interview, lighting up social media with condemnation and praise for Alberici and Mr Doureihi.
Speaking on Melbourne radio station 3AW on Thursday morning, Mr Abbott said he was impressed with the ABC host’s tenacity.
“She’s a feisty interviewer … good on her for having a go and I think she spoke for our country last night,” Mr Abbott said.
Mr Abbott’s praise was in stark contrast to his previous criticisms of the ABC.
In January, Mr Abbott complained the national broadcaster appeared to “take everyone’s side but Australia’s” after it published claims that Australian Navy officials had mistreated asylum seekers during a turnback operation.
Mr Abbott condemned Mr Doureihi’s performance as “un-Australian” and said the Lateline interview confirmed his concerns about Hizb ut-Tahrir.
“This is an organisation which is very careful to avoid advocating terrorism but which is always making excuses for terrorist organisations,” he said.
What we see in this interview is a standard Islamic tactic for diverting attention from Islamic crimes against humanity. It is good to see a mainstream journalist giving someone like Doureihi the pasting that he most surely deserves.
If only our own British journalists and media outlets could do the same when confronted with scum like Choudary and those like him.

It’s time the Australian Government stopped playing the ” lets pretend to stop the terrorists game ” which the lap dog Australian media specifically the ABC like to engage in– it’s becoming humorous now. Prime Minister/media tart Tony Abbott likes to pretend to condemn the Muslims criminal activities–it’s what he does best, the all talk and no action man is nothing but a gutless Muslim appeasing pathetic joke who only works in the best interests of the Muslim community and no longer represents the people who elected him into office and pays his undeserved over-inflated wages–he has proven to be the most useless, despised, deceitful and dumbest P.M in Australian political history and should be thrown out of office.
For more than a decade calls from the public to have Hizb ut Tahrir banned from operating in Australia has been repeatedly rejected by the Government. Abbott pledged to proscribe Hizb ut Tahrir as a terrorist organization and ban the Islamic extremist organization if he was elected–another typical Abbott lie. Surprise, Surprise as soon as he was elected Abbott then claimed that under existing Australian law ( which has been in effect for years ) he was unable to ban the radical extremist movement however the Government which works in consultation with the Muslim community doesn’t have a problem amending existing Australian laws and introducing new ones frequently to suit themselves in order to work in compliance with Islamic Sharia law to accommodate the Muslim minority. According to the Government it can’t take action to stop the Islamic hatemongers from preaching their extremist views and intimidating Australians with violent threats yet is is able to introduce race hate/ religious vilification laws that specifically protects and empowers Muslims and intimidates non-Muslim Australians into silence. Muslims can continue to spew their hatred for Australians and make threats virtually unchallenged and unpunished while Australians are threatened with prosecution just for bringing attention to it. One law for the Muslims–another one for everyone else–and the Government has the audacity to claim that it doesn’t discriminate.
The Government has deliberately flooded the country with the known criminal dregs from failed Islamic nations and dumped into Australian communities against the objections of the majority. The Islamic freeloaders are given a safe haven, granted immunity and provided with an endless tax-payer funded cash flow which clearly has helped to finance their terrorist activities against Australians. The Government has for years allowed the radicalized Islamic hatemongers to engage in the war in Syria and return to Australia, unchallenged and unpunished. Muslims have been embedded in our country to change the Australian identity, its customs, cultures and laws. The Government wants us all living under the boot of Sharia, converted to the Islamic death cult, speaking the Arabic gibberish and wearing the Muslims grotesque tribal headbags in preparation for the global Islamic takeover.
Australia is Governed by traitors and cowards.
Some interesting points from an Australian perspective there. Whether the insertion of Islam, by politicians, into societies where the citizens plainly don’t want it was deliberate or not is a matter for opinion and debate. However, to my mind the idea that politicians would deliberately destroy their own societies in order favour Islam appears much less likely than the possibility that politicians have been afflicted by multiculturalist ‘group-think’. Many Western politicians have mistakenly subscribed to the false idea that all cultures are equal, when they plainly are not and it is difficult for politicians to step out from that group-think without damaging their own reputations. Also politicians may fear the reaction of the noisy and disruptive Left who have embedded themselves in administration, law making and in areas such as education.
Where I will agree with you wholeheartedly is that it is about time that the ‘Islamic free pass’ was ripped up and Muslims given the choice, obey our laws or sod off to a country that more suits you.
