At the time of going to pixel, a Jihadist is still holding hostages, 15 men and women, according to one Twitter report from Chris Reason of Channel Seven News Australia. So far five hostages have managed to escape or been released. The New South Wales are saying in public that they are treating this hostage situation as a negotiation issue, and only time will tell whether or not NSW Police’s faith in negotiation will be rewarded.

As usual, when these situations occur, as they do now with monotonous regularity, in towns and cities throughout the world, we have the spectacle of the ‘nothing to do with Islam’ brigade turn up. So far this morning I’ve seen one Muslima saying that the jihadis had created their ideology out of what is a at heart a peaceful religion, yeah right, how many times have we heard that?

More like they created their own ideology from the religion. The religion in fact promotes peace.

The Leftist wing of the ‘nothing to do with Islam’ crew were in one case ignoring the fact that the hostage-taker was flying an Islamic Shahada flag at the siege site.

While Mr Tarrant is correct that this is not a ‘racial’ issue, it is certainly a religious one because what we have here is yet another person who whether they started out in life as a Muslim or not, have been inspired by Islam to commit violence or other crimes. The spectacle of the followers of Islam suddenly suffering from ‘sudden jihad syndrome’ should be plenty enough evidence that Islam inspires violence and terror. People like Mr Tarrant should realise that Islamic savages can come in all colours, Black, White, Yellow or Brown. Islam is not a race, it is an ideology no different from Communism or Fascism. I’ve come to the conclusion that although there are good people who are Muslims, they are good in spite of Islam and not because of it.

The response to this siege from the Australian Islamic establishment has been predictable. They’ve been flapping their forked bullshit-covered tongues to the media and gone into full, ‘this is not Islam’ mode. They are reported by Al Arabiya as saying:

“The Australian National Imams Council, commenting on the siege at a Sydney cafe on Monday, said it “condemns this criminal act unequivocally.” 

Haven’t we heard those words before? Of course we have, we hear it from the lips of nearly every Islam promotion type group, in so many places after whatever is the latest atrocity committed by the followers of Islam. These Imams issue empty and dishonest words of condemnation, but do very little that is practical or effective to counter jihadism, hate preachers or treason.

The joint statement with the Grand Mufti of Australia said that “such actions are denounced in part and in whole in Islam,” noting they awaited further information about the identity and motivations of the perpetrators. 

How can these actions be ‘nothing to do with Islam’? They are certainly not the work of the bloody Methodists are they? It is a cliché, but a very true one to say that although there are many Muslims who are not terrorists, or who express hatred for non-Muslim cultures, nearly all terrorists and many of those who plot treason against the freedoms that the people of Western nations fought hard to win, are Muslim. Although the Grand Mufti may not like it, incidents like this nearly always have everything to do with Islam.

The Grand Mufti and the council pledged their “full support and solidarity with the victims and their families and aspire to a peaceful resolve to this calamity.”

Yet more empty words from followers of an ideology that is empty of everything apart from the blood of its victims. Those of us who have been lied to by Islamic groups have learned to not take at face value the statements of Islamic entities. These words sound good and sound right, but do they really care about the victims or potential victims, or do they only care that this action will further enlighten non-Muslims to the true nature of Islam’s violent and oppressive heart.

I pray that the innocent in this incident are freed unharmed and I hope that justice swiftly finds and befalls this hostage taker.
