Just how big a can of worms is West Midlands Police sitting on?

There was an extraordinary court case last month that does not encourage faith in the probity of West Midlands Police. Despite the force having a much publicised and loudly trumpeted policy of cracking down on child sexual exploitation, their lawyers went out of their way to try to hide the identities of a group of Muslim men who had been given civil court injunctions to stay away from one individual 17 year old girl, and also banned them from contact with any girl under 18 in a public place. These men have been judged, on a balance of probabilities basis, to be a danger to young women, yet West Midlands Police attempted to protect them.

The reason stated was the danger of attack from vigilantes and the EDL and the fact that one of those involved threatened suicide if his name was revealed. Emotional blackmail like the threat of suicide should always be resisted because if you or your organisation succumbs to it then you will never be free of it. As for the risk of attack from vigilantes, well all I can say to that is that if West Midlands Police had done its job better in the past with policing, then there may not be the perceived need for vigilantes. It is also pertinent to state that although WMP may currently be making a song and dance of their anti child exploitation unit, the public need to know how many Islamic Rape Gangs have they let slip away in the past? The public already know that Birmingham Council buried for 23 years a report into the involvement of Muslim taxi drivers in child sexual exploitation, therefore it is right that West Midlands Police account for what they may not have done about Islamic Rape Gangs over previous decades.

Birmingham has parts that have similar demographics to other places that have been afflicted by Islamic Rape Gangs and it is almost inconceivable to imagine that the same problems have not been occurring on the West Midlands patch in the past. WMP and more specifically its Chief Constable Chris Sims, has garnered an unenviable reputation for being a bit too friendly with various bits of the Islamic community and also lax in establishing police authority where Islam is concerned. West Midlands has become a ‘shariah friendly’ police force, and the attempt to hide the names of Muslims who are a danger to young women, shows just how far down that road they’ve gone and even to doubt whose side the police and their lawyers are actually on and whether there is a crisis of probity in West Midlands Police?

Whilst most people will wish to praise West Midlands Police for at least starting to focus on child sexual exploitation and on Islamic Rape Gangs, that does not mean that their past should go unexamined. There is a growing and chilling similarity between the behaviour and attitude of the police towards Islam and its adherents both in South Yorkshire and in the West Midlands. They both have a history of pandering to Islamic groups, and often tiptoe round the problems that Islam brings like uniformed mice desperate to avoid the mousetrap of being called ‘racist’. Couple this similarity in policing policy as well as similar cultural and religious demographics, and it is not beyond reasonable to ask whether or not the hiding of Islamic sex abuse by police and other agencies in Rotherham could not also have been going on in West Midlands?

It is highly likely that West Midlands Police may well be sitting on a can of Islamic Rape Gang worms, and it would be good to know just how big it is.

There is an urgent need for a public enquiry into how West Midlands Police are managing law enforcement in their area, not just in the present, although that is sorely needed, but also into how they have handled the problem of Islamic Rape Gangs in the past.

  1. Isn’t it just typical! They rape and groom little girls but when confronted they cry suicide and are scared…horrible prospect for Britain with the ever increasing muslim population and the police appeasing them.

There are 2 very extensive discussions on 4F about almost all the known information on the grooming gangs. Several of the contributors to 4F provided information to Peter McLoughlin whilst he was writing the book on the grooming scandal.
