Britain’s ‘favourite’ mendacious grievance-mongering Taqiyya artist, Fiyaz Mughal, has found something else to complain about.

MY GOD! IT'S FULL OF SHIT.
Tell Mama and Fiyaz Mughal are still engaged on their 'Taqiyya Oddessy'.

Tell Mama and Fiyaz Mughal are still engaged on their ‘Taqiyya Oddessy’.

Not content with doing all he and his organisation can do, sometimes with taxpayers money, to shut down all criticism of Islam, even legitimate criticism, Fiyaz Mughal Britain’s most infamous promulgator of Islamic victim hood lies, has found a new target for his whines, that of Halloween costumes.

Fiyaz Mughal and his Tell Mama vehicle are getting all morally outraged about a ‘comedy niqab’ outfit that has been sold on ebay. Does this man have no sense of shame whatsoever? Does he have no sense of proportionality? At a time when women in the Muslim community in Britain are being beaten down by Islamic misogyny, having their clitorises excised and forced into servitude by Muslim men, Fiyaz Mughal chooses something highly inconsquential to complain about. Doesn’t that tell you a lot about Mr Mughal? There are a multitude of things that he should rightfully be complaining about but instead he chooses this. Many religions have their distinctive garb lampooned at Halloween or other sorts of celebrations where people dress up. Sarees, dog collars, Jewish homburgs and Peyos, nuns habits, bishops mitres and Buddhist monk’s robes, have all turned up at some time or another as fancy dress. Yes indeed, some people may find such lampooning of religious symbols unsettling or offensive. However, tolerating a certain level of gentle mockery is part and parcel of living in a relatively free society, and is rarely the subject of censure by members of the religions that are lampooned, or in Fiyaz Mughal’s case, whining about it.

Here’s how the Daily Star in the UK covered the story of Mountebank Mughal’s complaint about the ‘comedy niqab’ outfit that was being sold on Ebay. As is the usual policy for this blog, the original text is in italics, whereas this blog’s comments on the article are in plain text.

The Daily Star said:

An advert on the auction site even describes the traditional outfit as being “perfect for stag parties”.

Not much to disagree with there.

A leading anti-Islamophobia organisation has called for the listings to be removed.

Change the word ‘leading’ to ‘loud and dishonest’ and change ‘called for the listings to be removed’ to whining like a spoiled child, and you may have a better approximation of the truth about the matter. Mind you, ‘truth’ is something that is not often found travelling on the same carriageway as Fiyaz Mughal and the Tell Mama group.

Fiyaz Mughal OBE, a director of Tell MAMA, said the costume “dehumanises” women who wear the veil.

What a crock of shit. It’s not comedy niqabs or burkas that are ‘dehumanising’ women, it’s the Islamic culture itself that forces many Islamic women to wear such garments out of compulsion that is dehumanising. I’d love to know what Fiyaz Mughal got his OBE for? Without wasting time searching for the real or officially given reason, I would guess it was for services to statistical dishonesty and screaming like a stuck pig whenever someone expresses a dislike of the Islamic religion of rape and murder. The niqab and burka and similar garments really do deserve to be mocked, and mocked regularly and mercilessly.

He said: “Many Muslim women do not wear the burka, though to associate it with Halloween further stigmatises women who wear it.

I have no more moral problem with stigmatising those who are using the burka as everyday wear, as I would have stigmatising those who choose to dress up as Herman Goering to do their weekly shopping.

We ask that eBay remove these so-called costumes and understand the impact that it has on women, perceptions within wider communitiesand to the safety of some Muslim women.”

Let’s pick this statement from this mendacious grievance-mongering taqiyya* artist apart shall we. ‘We ask’ translates to ‘we demand’, with of course the usual silent but deadly subtext, that’s often there when Muslims complain about something, that ‘something bad might happen if you don’t remove them from sale’. ‘Perceptions within the wider community’, well, the only people responsible for the piss-poor image of Muslims and Islam is Muslims themselves. As to Mountebank Mughal’s claim that this outfit will damage Muslim women’s safety then, with respect, I refer you all to the proven dishonesty of the Tell Mama organisation when it comes to ‘hate crime’ allegations.

For those who do not know the backstory, the Tell Mama group headed up by Fiyaz Mughal was slammed by Andrew Gilligan of the Daily Telegraph, and many others, for lying about the number of anti-Muslim attacks that occurred following the Islamic murder of Fusileer Lee Rigby. Tell Mama and Fiyaz Mughal were counting people expressing non-violent but negative views of Islam as being equivalent to physical attacks against Muslims. Tell Mama are dishonest and have been proven to be. Fiyaz Mughal and Tell Mama have also tried to use ‘lawfare’ against its critics, but ended up losing cases in the Criminal Courts, the libel courts and at the Press Complaints Commission. It is beyond scandalous that the mainstream media is still taking this lying, troublesome organisation seriously.

Neither Fiyaz Mughal nor his many front groups such as Tell Mama, Faith Matters or Religious Reader, are to be trusted. In fact if Mughal or one of his groups told me it was raining outside, then I feel I’d have to go and check just to make sure I was being told the truth.

Sellers Dragons Den Fancy Dress have the outfitlisted as a “Halloween Fancy Dress Idea Sharia Burka”.

It comes in a range of sizes from small to extra-large at prices between £22.55 and £29.95 and is on sale in a selection of colours including Forest Green, City Blue and Royal Blue.

Great! This proves that, at least in the world of fancy dress, the market works. This company would not have put this out if there was not at least some demand for this item from potential customers.

Also available on the site is a mini-skirt and veil combo described as a “Middle Eastern Arab Girl Burka Halloween Fancy Dress Costume”.

The mini and veil costume has been around for years. I remember going to fancy dress parties in the 80’s and seeing variations of the ‘sexy belly dancer’ costume complete with veil.

The outfit, worn in a photo by a white girl wearing saucy high heels, is on sale for £16.99.

Bargain. However, it is possible to make your own version of the dehumanising and misogynistic burka by simply cutting a few eye holes and breathing holes in a bin bag.

An eBay spokesman said: “We do not allow any items that promote intolerance toward religion.

This is not an illegal item. It’s not a firearm or explosives or child porn or anything like that, that should be controled. Furthermore, I’ve noticed that ebay seems to have little problem with selling copies of the Koran, and as we all now know, that book really does ‘promote intolerance towards religion’, especially the Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist religions.

“We always welcome feedback from our members and take this into account when reviewing items on our marketplace.”

Well here’s my feedback Mr Ebay spokesman. Stop listening to dishonest organisations like Tell Mama and the charlatans who run them.

What is delicious about this story is that Mountebank Mughal’s attempt to muscle in on this story, probably because he reckons his group may be in line for some counter-extremism ‘Prevent’ cash from the UK Government, has given greater publicity to these outfits. I would not be surprised that even if ebay manage to take down these products from their site, that many more outlets, both online and offline, start to realise that there is a market for a comedy burka or a comedy niqab.

Let’s all hope that Fiyaz Mughal and Tell Mama have shot themselves in the foot over this.

Note * ‘Taqiyya’, for those who do not know, is the act of lying in order to protect or promote the ideology of Islam. It is most often heard in the form of words ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ uttered by dishonest Imams, other Islamic spokespersons and Quisling politicians like David Cameron.
