Another terrorist arrest in Birmingham and yet again it’s a Muslim

We are getting depressingly familiar with violent terror plots or jihadis coming from the Birmingham area and other parts of the West Midlands. It’s also right to note that it always seems to be Muslims who are picked up for this crime which increasingly gives the lie to the phrase ‘Islam is a religion of peace’.

Today the West Midlands Police force announced that yet another Muslim had been arrested and charged under Anti Terror legislation.

In a press release West Midlands Police said:

A Birmingham man has been charged with preparing for acts of terrorism contrary to section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

Zahid Hussain, formerly of Naseby Road in Alum Rock, is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow (Tuesday 28 June).

The 28-year-old was arrested on 9 June 2015 in Naseby Road initially for possessing an offensive weapon in public.

He was later held by West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit detectives after a search of his home recovered explosives and other suspicious materials, although there was no immediate risk to the public.

Since his arrest he has been detained under the Mental Health Act.

The charges follow several months of investigation and consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service.

When I commented on this story on Twitter I had a Muslim tweeter turn up and whine that the guy was being held under the Mental Health Act. I assume that he was trying to divert attention away from the foul Islamic ideology that drives these Muslims to become involved in terror. I told him that the mental ilness that this guy is suffering from is called ‘islam’. I also pointed out to hm that the facts of the matter are that this man wasn’t made a subject of the Mental Health Act until some time after he had been arrested. Furthermore I said that it appeared that there were no MH concerns prior to the arrest which was the result of a long investigation and that the MH issue only showed up after the arrest.

The West Midlands area has a large number of Muslims and Chris Sims the former Chief Constable of West Midlands Police allegedly had a policy of letting different ‘communities’ police themselves. Because of this Birmingham in particular has morphed into Britain’s ‘Jihadi Central’. This latest arrest of a Muslim is just one of many in the region and there are likely to be many more in the future. What we should worry about are the mad terroristic Muslims whom the police and security services are not aware of, and it is these who are likely to be below the radar until they suffer from ‘sudden jihad syndrome’ with lethal effects.
