Theresa May’s useless ‘Prevent’ strategy goes tits up again

Many people, including myself, predicted that the ‘Prevent’ counter ‘radicalisation’ strategy would end up being turned on Britain’s non-Muslim, and do very little to stop Islamic radicalisation. Unfortunately, this prediction has turned out to be true. Whilst up and down the UK Islamic schools and madrassas teach hatred for non-Muslims, promote anti-Semitism and that women are to be seen as second class citizens, the teachers at a school in Middlesbrough have come down hard on a child who said that the Brexit vote would ‘limit immigration’.

The pupil at Teesville Primary School in Middlesbrough told his teacher during a discussion on the effects of the Brexit vote that the result of it would ‘stop immigrants coming in or leaving’. For this the school branded him ‘racist’ and informed local social services that they had a dangerous radical on their hands.

The family, who deny any racism in their household whatsoever, have now been targeted by Social Services in yet another example of double standards when it comes to how Muslims are treated when compared to how non-Muslims are treated. Despite many instances of Islamic schools teaching all manner of uncivilised guff and encouraging their charges to remain separate and hostile to the majority community these teachers decide to attack a non-Muslim child. Muslim schools seem to be able to get away with all manner of things that would not be acceptable in either the state education system or in schools run by Christians or Modern Orthodox Jews.

Rarely. if ever, is anything done effectively to stop Islamic schools teaching Jew-hatred or extreme misogyny or even promoting Jihad, yet a non-Muslim child who repeats information that has been part of the mainstream news for months, is treated like a terrorist. Even when Muslim children are reported to the authorities as part of the ‘Prevent’ strategy, it seems to be mostly due to minor misunderstandings or spelling mistakes or a bit of overzealousness on the part of teachers. This case on the other hand is a case of a child and their family being punished for expressing a view that is not approved of by the political Left.

Here’s how the Daily Mail has reported this story. As is usual policy for this blog, the original report is in italics whereas this bloggers comments are in plain text.

Martin Robinson reporting for The Daily Mail said:

A primary school pupil has been reported to social services after he told a teacher Brexit would limit immigration and was branded racist.

Parents of the child, who attends Teesville Primary School in Middlesbrough are furious that their child has ‘been singled out in this way’.

The incident is understood to have been reported to Redcar and Cleveland Council under the national Prevent strategy which aims to tackle radicalisation.
The father of the child, who cannot be named, said: ‘We have been informed that (his child) will be reported to the relevant authorities for radicalisation and being racist.

I don’t know about you but I saw nothing ‘racist’ in what the child is alleged to have said. He is alleged to have said ‘immigrants’, without specifying or mentioning any race.

‘The school in question was talking about how the exit from the EU would effect our country.

‘My child said ‘It would stop refugees and immigrants coming in or leaving the country’ which has been said numerous times in the news and social media since the referendum result.

Exactly! The child was repeating parts of the debate that has been going on in public for weeks if not months. I’m appalled at the behaviour of the school here. If they wanted a discussion all well and good but a discussion is by its very nature an expression of a variety of views. I can’t help but think that what the school was after was not an open discussion the subject of Brexit, but a ‘check session’ to find out whether the schools propaganda on the subject of ‘diversity’ had sunk in.

‘One thing for certain is (that) my child, me or his mum are not racist in any way shape or form.’

He added: ‘We are fuming that the school has taken this action against our child who is the most caring and great child a father could want.

‘We are not happy that they have been singled out in this way.’

It certainly seems that this particular child has been singled out. Who knows where this will lead now that the prod-noses of Social Services have got involved. Will the family be sent for ‘diversity re-education’ or something similar? I wouldn’t put it past the prod-noses, or Redcar and Cleveland Council, to do such a thing.

To be fair at this point it must be said that there have been occasions when Muslim children have been targeted without good reason by ‘Prevent’, but these were very minor incidents, which appear to be few and far between. Although the ‘Prevent’ scheme was set up by the Blair government following the Islamic attacks on London’s transport system in 2005, the current Home Secretary and Conservative Party leadership challenger, Theresa May, has done little to make it more effective or target it at the community that really needs targeting, the Muslim community. The Home Office seems to have forgotten that it’s not Christians, Jews, Hindus or Sikhs who pose a clear and present danger to our nation, but Muslims and Islam.

This ball has been in Ms May’s court for a long time and the ‘Prevent’ scheme should be working better than this. In one case that this blog reported on from Herefordshire, an incorrigible promoter of Islam, Neville Meredith, a former Diversity Officer, has been put in charge of the ‘Prevent’ strategy for the county. It is utterly unacceptable that a naïve fool who believes that Islam is a ‘religion of peace’ should be in such an important position that has security implications. It’s as mad and incongruous as putting a drunkard in charge of a whisky warehouse, it really is that stupid and short sighted. It begs the question: How many other unsuitable people have been put in charge of local ‘Prevent’ schemes?

To return to this current case, it would surprise me not one little bit to find out that the school was ‘fishing’ for comments from the children that they could mark down as ‘racist’ or which departed from the official line that ‘diversity is strength’.

The Daily Mail article continued:

The deputy head of Teesville Primary said the incident was ‘a minor issue that was dealt with internally.’

The issue was raised with Redcar and Cleveland Council as a precaution and the mother of the child met senior school staff.

A Redcar and Cleveland Council spokesperson said: ‘We were informed about the incident as that is normal procedure.

‘The matter was subsequently dealt with internally.

What a crock of shit disingenuous comment that is from the Deputy Head. If the matter was ‘dealt with ‘internally’ then where were Social Services brought in?

‘Staff at the school followed the training they were given and the acting-head had a sit-down meeting with the child’s mother and grandmother who were satisfied with the outcome.’

If that had been my child I wouldn’t have been ‘satisfied’ with the outcome. I would have taken the matter further.

It is understood the school followed the protocol of ‘Prevent’, a programme that teaches school children about multiculturalism and protects them from the risk of radicalisation.

Now we get a little bit of a clue as to why this child may have been targeted. The school obviously has a policy of pushing multikulti propaganda onto children and they’ve panicked because one of the children has departed from the standard multikulti script of ‘diversity is wonderful’.

Britain’s schools are letting our children and our nation down very badly indeed. Instead of teaching children valuable and useful information and preparing them for a life as an independent adult, they are wasting time and our children’s lives by propagandising to them. I’m heartily sick of hearing and reading story after story of schools who spend an inordinate amount of time pressing diversity propaganda on them, teaching 4 year olds that it’s cool to be transsexual or that it’s a good thing that rabid death cults like Islam have become a part of Britain.

Time and time again I say on here that our schools and our teachers cannot be trusted to educate our children effectively and without political bias. The only way for this to change is for we the parents to start to behave like savvy customers of these schools and demand that they do our bidding for a change. If you went to a supermarket and the management said you can’t buy your groceries unless you spend a couple of hours listening to some wanky Left wing propagandist, then we’d be appalled, and probably would not shop at that supermarket again. We need to take a similar attitude to our children’s schools and the legion of Left wing teachers who infest them and become active parents who refuse to put up with the guff that the schools are filling our children’s heads with. We parents need to organise to resist the propaganda. At present it’s very easy for schools to intimidate the one or two parents who bravely speak out about what’s going on in our schools, but if these parents were members of an organised and effective group, then it would be less easy for schools to intimidate parents like they do.

I’m dreading the day when my lovely and intelligent son goes to school, because I fear the propagandists who dwell within them, and who I know will lie, lie and lie again to promote failed ideologies like multiculturalism and dangerous death-cults such as Islam.

I can’t help but wonder if there are other similar incidents like this that are happening, but which are not being reported because parents have been frightened into silence by the staff of schools which are plainly unfit for purpose.

This is not the first time Redcar and Cleveland Council has come to this blogger’s attention. The council dumped a load of potential ‘rapeugees’ in a building next to a school.

You’d think that a known promoter of Islam should be the very last person who should be put in charge of a local ‘Prevent’ scheme wouldn’t you? But that’s exactly what’s been done in Herefordshire.
