….. from Friday prayers being all about calling for the killing and enslaving of Christians, Jews and others, or approving of the idea of chucking gay people off of roofs, or being instructed to vote Labour or even, as happened a few years back, refusing to read a sermon condemning child sex grooming.
It would make a pleasant change for Islamic clerics to call for peace it really would.
When I saw the screen shot, pasted above, which I was sent earlier on, I immediately thought what a crock of shit. I thought shouldn’t a genuine ‘religion of peace’ be praying for peace all the time and not just whenever one of their co-religionists goes ‘full Islam’ and kills people? It does make me wonder just what Friday sermons are like on days when there hasn’t been an outbreak of violent Islamic savagery? Probably, as some ex Muslims and heterodox Muslims, have said of Friday sermons in mosques, it will be the usual diet of Jew hatred and despising everything about us ‘kufar’, apart of course, from the welfare payments that a large number of Muslims get from the rest of us.
Personally I don’t care that Imams are giving dishonest sermons about how ‘Islam is a religion of peace’. However, I do care very much that the culture of Islam is producing so many individuals which wish to harm us and who follow a theology that is based on the hate filled rantings of a 7th century desert warlord. My message to those giving these Friday sermons filled with exhortations to peace is this: Don’t just say that peace is desirable, damn well show us by treating the rest of the world with a darn site more respect, and indeed peace, than the members of your faith do at present.
