From Elsewhere: American father stands up against forced Islamic propaganda in his child’s school.

I saw this posted by a few people on the minds.com social network platform and when I read it and saw the video I cheered. I was immensely pleased to see an ordinary American parent speaking out against a school district that was forcing pro-Islam propaganda on his and other parent’s children. This gentleman, whose name has been given as Christopher Wyrick, made an impassioned speech criticising the school district’s policy of forcing Islamic propaganda down the throats of the district’s children.

Mr Wyrick is for me the epitome of the good parent. He knows that Islam is an evil death cult and doesn’t want the teachers to divert their child charges from the truth about Islam with comforting lies such as ‘Islam is a religion of peace’.

The right of parents to remove their children from situations where they are likely to be fed dishonest propaganda about particular religious or political belief systems is a right that should never be surrendered. Unfortunately here in the United Kingdom even our senior Clerics from the Church of England have turned traitors for Islam and are recommending that the long standing right of parents to remove their children from Religious Education should be scrapped. These churchmen are concerned that a growing number of parents are keeping their children away from RE lessons where Islamic propaganda is being dispensed and because of that the clerics want lessons about Islam to be forced on British children. This is one proposal that we all need to say ‘no’ to. It’s bad enough with left wing teachers filling kids heads with guff about there being more than two genders but things would be worse if we could not remove our kids from Islamic propaganda lessons.

Thankfully for our American cousins, things there are a darn sight better in the USA than they are in the UK regarding parental rights. Parents have a right to voice their opinion and although in the American case the local politicians and Islamopanderers tried to shut down Mr Wyrick’s voice, he stood his ground and made his point.

Here’s a short section of Mr Wyrick’s words to the local school district in San Diego, California. It is excerpted from the Tea Party website.

The Tea Party website said:

The San Diego Unified School District in California decided to launch an “anti-Islamaphobia” measure, and it backfired spectacularly when one parent found out what that actually meant.

The initiative was met with backlash from many, but Christopher Wyrick made it abundantly clear in a passionate speech that he is not content with the school district forcing children– including his own – to learn Islamic cultures.

Here’s how his viral speech to the board members began:

My name’s Christopher Wyrick, I’m a resident of San Diego. I’m a taxpayer, a father, a husband, and a very, very proud American. Over the years, I’ve had many titles. One of them I will not accept is infidel.

There has been an argument over the years to keep religious beliefs out of schools, especially any that happen to be associated with Judaism or Christianity. So at what point did you decide that it was OK to teach my children about Islam?”

Wyrick then went on to detail how there must be a separation between religion and schools, adding that he could not fathom why the district thought it would be acceptable to form a partnership with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in order to “implement a pro-Islam curriculum in schools.”

What’s next? Teaching them about the five pillars or the conversion prayer?” he asked.

OK, thank you very much,” one board member said as he tried to silence the father from continuing his speech.

Oh, dude, I’m going to go. You’re going to have to drag me out of here,” the father fired back as he continued giving his speech.

The crowd erupted with laughter, applauds, and encouragement from the crowd as the father was cheered for having the courage to speak his mind.

As Wyrick pointed out, CAIR has been linked to several terrorist organizations and has been labelled as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the Holy Land Foundation trial from 2010. The Holy Land Foundation was found guilty of handling and providing material support to many terrorist organizations.

As the father closed out his speech, police showed up and tried to remove him from the podium. Just before he left, the dad added one last statement for the district board members.

You guys are hypocrites and you should protect your children,” he said.

Well Bloody Said Mr Wyrick! You were dead right to point out that this sort of teaching is sailing dangerously close to proselytism and that it goes against the concept of the separation of religion and state as set out in the First Amendment to the US Constitution. Mr Wyrick was right on target when he criticised the involvement of CAIR in the ‘anti Islamophobia’ programme. Groups like CAIR etc are dodgy and should have no official involvement in organised public life. Mr Wyrick was also bang on the money when he accused the School Board of being ‘hypocrites’ and of failing to protect the children in their care. I agree with Mr Wyrick in that allowing this sort of Islam promotion in a taxpayer funded school is legally iffy constitutionally and by exposing the children to this sort of propaganda will endanger them. This propaganda will endanger the children as it will give them a false sense about Islam, a sense of Islam being a peaceful faith path when any body who knows the truth about Islam knows that this is not the case.

Congratulations to Mr Wyrick for standing up and more power to your elbow and congratulations to the other parents who stood up against this naked attempt to push pro Islam propaganda onto innocent children.
