Fake complaints used by Muslims to try to silence the Imam of peace.

Imam Tawhidi who is now under threat of death from other more conservative Muslims

There are very few Islamic clerics who can genuinely said to be walking the path of peace. There are also very few of such clerics who are prepared to tell the truth about the problems of Islamic extremism. One such cleric is Sheikh Mohammad Tawhidi an Australian Imam who has spoken publicly about both Islamic extremism and has admitted that the problem of Islamic violence and aggression can be at least partially solved by a society having less Muslims in it.

Sheikh Tawhidi is a brave man who as I have said on here before, deserves to be listened to. He moved to Australia from Iraq and passionately believes that those who move to Australia should become Australian and should not, as Muslims have done in that land, create violent and hostile ghettos.

Unfortunately Sheikh Tawhidi is under attack. Muslims who do not approve of him spilling the beans about Islamic violence and the extent of and danger posed by Islamic extremism are engaged in acts of Lawfare against him in an effort to shut Sheikh Tawhidi up. Lawfare for those who don’t’ know is the act of using Western legal systems as a tool to shut down criticism of Islam or of certain Muslims often by using fake complaints of ‘offence’ or spurious charges of ‘Islamophobia’ or ‘racism’. By doing this Muslims can advance the spread and influence of Islam whilst removing the rights of others to speak up or act against Islam.

In this latest case of Lawfare, Muslims are using the complaints system on Facebook to get Sheikh Tawhidi’s page taken down. These Muslims are even complaining about Sheikh Tawhidi’s writings and post that are critical of ISIS. This not only appears to be an action that is not only morally wrong in itself, but suggests that ISIS-type extremism or sympathy for it, may be more common in Islamic communities than many may have initially thought.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Sheikh Tawhidi is claiming that Facebook shut down his page because he condemned Islamic terror. Sheikh Tawhidi, who members of the Islamic ‘religion of peace’ have forced into hiding for fear of his life, has called for Muslims to respect free speech and democracy and has publicly denounced terrorism. Here’s a section of the Mail piece. As is usual policy for this blog the original text from the Mail is in italics whereas this blog’s comments are in plain text.

Kate Darvall writing for The Daily Mail said:

A Muslim Imam who campaigns against radicalism and Sharia Law claims his Facebook page was shut down because he spoke out against Islamic State terrorism.

Sheikh Mohammad Tawhidi, from Adelaide, said his Facebook page was deleted after radical Muslims made ‘false reports’ in an effort to silence him.

‘I’m not even allowed to criticise ISIS or Jihadis. Any comment against ISIS gets my page banned,’ he told Daily Mail Australia.

Imam Tawhidi has publicly condemned terrorism, religious violence, radicalism and extremism.

In April he called for a ‘review’ of Islam in Australia and demanded Muslims respect freedom of speech and democracy.

His views garnered so much abuse from hardline Muslims he was forced into hiding this year in fear for his life.

He claimed hoards of Muslims targeted his Facebook page because they didn’t agree with his views. He said their ‘false reporting’ forced Facebook to take action.

False reporting is used a lot by Islamic groups and certain Muslim individuals in order to try to shut down, shut up opponents or even have them subjected to legal sanctions such as fines or imprisonment. Fake complaints, especially complaints of ‘Islamophobia’ or ‘offence’ are a weapon that has been used far too often in my opinion and it shows Facebook up in a very bad light that they didn’t take steps to check to see if these complaints were part of a well organised but dishonest campaign by Sheikh Tawhidi’s critics. I suspect that the Facebook moderators saw the words ‘Islamophobia’ or ‘hatred’ and took the lying Muslim complainants at face value, something that should never happen.

The Daily Mail article continued:

‘I was banned by Facebook because radical Islamists made false reports about me and apparently I’m not allowed to even have a photo of myself either,’ he said.

‘I feel there’s a political agenda behind this.’

Imam Tawhidi said Facebook removed a photo he posted of himself. He claimed he appealed the decision to close his page, but Facebook did not respond.

One member of the Sydney Islamic Discussion Facebook page called for fellow members to report as many of Imam Tawhidi’s posts as possible, with the intention to get his page shutdown.

‘Keep on reporting his posts, the least we can do is make his life a little hard,’ one man said.

Imam Tawhidi created a backup page because he refused to be ‘silenced’.

‘I’m back on Facebook to expose the corruption of Islamic Extremism,’ he said.

It’s pretty obvious even to a person of average intelligence that Sheikh Tawhidi has been targeted by Islamic extremists who are making mass fake complaints in order to get Facebook to wrongly think that it is Sheikh Tawhidi who is the problem, not the extremists who are complaining about him. It’s ironic that Facebook remove the words of a man who is completely opposed to the views of violent extremists but allow various flavours of Islamic extremist to flourish unmolested on their platform.

The tactic of mass fake complaints is one that many social media companies have not apparently properly got to grips with. I concede that it could be difficult for moderators to ascertain whether complaints are real or fake, but in cases where an Islamic group and known Islamic extremists are behind the deluge of complaints, then these complaints should be dismissed.

Sheikh Tawhidi appears to be a man who is prepared to tell the truth about Islam and tell Muslims when they are in the wrong and where their culture clashes with that of civilised nations. For that he should be respected and not silenced. This particular case also shows that many orthodox Muslims fear the words of Sheikh Tawhidi and this is why they wish to shut him up. The attempt to silence the Imam of peace and honesty also shines a light on the nature of orthodox Islam itself. This attack on Sheikh Tawhidi shows us just how dishonest many Muslims are prepared to be in order to attack reformers, attack peacemakers and promote the same sort of Islam that has turned much of the world into a charnel house.

Facebook have form in shutting down truthful sites while allowing the most disgusting to remain. Try posting anything that is pro-Israel.

As far as Facebook are concerned, they and their bloated egoed CEO and apologist Mark Zuckerberg can go and do one.

The best description of Facebook for its moral inversions, is ArseAboutFaceBook. May it disappear up its own fundament together with the fascist Lefties, online jihadis and the malignant, inadequate self righteous keyboard crusaders infesting it like a dose of crabs around a syphilytic sphincter.
