Haitian ‘refugees’ entering Canada carrying child abuse images.

Map of Haiti

It’s very easy to feel sorry for the Haitians, after all the history of their nation has been one of grinding poverty, oppression, lack of opportunity and brave attempts to free themselves from slavery. Haiti was a slave colony under French rule until the great Black leader Toussaint Louverture rebelled against servitude. Since the Louverture uprising the Haitians have been led by a variety of kings and presidents and thugs and was until 1934 under occupation by US Marines. Sadly, not all of that normally admirable group of men, the US Marines, behaved altogether well towards the ordinary people. Natural resources in Haiti are thin on the ground and political ineffectiveness, incompetence and corruption has made life for Haitians nasty, brutish and short. The thin hand that the average Haitian has been dealt has been poorly played by both the Haitians themselves and by their governments. The Haitians are in dire straits and at various times in history, including recently, the Haitian people have needed to be helped, not just to prosper and grow, but to survive.

Haitians moved en masse following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti to the USA as refugees. However, some Haitians in the USA believe that the election of President Trump means that they may lose their refugee status on the grounds that Haiti is being seen to be recovering a little from the damage caused by the earthquake. Because of this fear of expulsion many Haitians are flooding across the Canadian border as they may have been expected to do in the circumstances, but it is what is being found on these Haitians by Canadian border staff, that causes me and will cause many others to lose any sympathy with these Haitians.

A number of Haitians, five of them in a very short amount of time have been caught in possession of images depicting child abuse. According to the Breitbart website finding Haitians carrying images of the most debased child sexual abuse imaginable is becoming more and more common.

Breitbart said:

Multiple asylum seekers crossing the border from the United States into the French-speaking Canadian province of  Quebec have been caught in the possession of child pornography.

The Quebec town of St-Bernard-de-Lacolle, which lies on the border with New York state, has seen an influx of thousands of asylum seekers from the United States in recent weeks.

The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) has reportedly caught “four or five” asylum seekers originally from Haiti possessing sexual material involving children, Canadian broadcaster Global News reports.

Although the reported cases only relates to five who’ve been caught illegally crossing the border with child abuse images, it’s likely that there may be many others with similar material. The individuals may not yet have been apprehended or have been given entry to Canada but where Canadian authorities have not yet discovered illegal images. It’s seriously worrying both for the Canadians and the Americans that there are Haitians who think that child abuse images are so normal and socially acceptable that they carry them across a border.

The Haitians, it must be said, do not represent the sort of economic and violence burden on countries like Canada and the USA that the various Muslim migrants do. The data shows that most Haitians work hard and do their best in the education sector, according to the US Migration Policy Institute. However, the fact that some are bringing child sexual abuse images to Canada should make Canadians worry about what sort of Haitians they are getting. Are they getting the hard workers and dedicated learners or are they getting the dregs of the Haitians, the criminals, the ponces and the sex beasts? With seemingly no real control on who is coming across the US/Canadian border, it’s likely that the Haitians that Canada is getting are not the ones who are going to contribute to the country, but instead will get those lowlifes who are attracted by Justin Trudeau’s foolish invitation to all the world to come and eat from the trough of Canada’s welfare state.

Without a doubt the Haitians have had a tragic and oppressive history and one in which none of those ruling over Haiti have covered themselves in glory, and that includes that of the United States. However, that does not mean that either the US or Canada or any other nation should open their doors to the sort of Haitians who may be burdensome and may also bring horrendous crimes.

The presence of child sex abuse images on people who are trying to avoid deportation from the USA does not bode well for Canada. The discovery of child sex abuse images on a small number of Haitian illegals may be an indication of a wider problem among the cohort of diaspora Haitians who are trying to cross into Canada illegally. It’s looking very much like Canada is getting the Haitians whom the American’s don’t want and are not suitable for naturalization as US citizens. I fear that the bad Haitians that are probably crossing the border into Canada now are going to be a serious problem for Canada and Canadian citizens in the future.

If you want a good book on the subject of the slave uprising in Haiti then I heartily recommend ‘The Black Jacobins’ by CLR James. Although written by a Marxist, it is still a highly readable and informative account of the slave revolt and the historical situation on the island of Hispaniola which is today divided into the nations of Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
