Back to the UK unfortunately for today’s tranche of Bearded Savagery, where military cadets selling poppies for the British Legion have been attacked by bearded savages in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
The situation has got so bad that a motorcycle club that supports the Legion is having to chaperone the cadets whilst they sell poppies for Remembrance Day.
The Daily Telegraph said:
“ ….unprecedented security will be provided for young Army cadets in Bradford, West Yorks, after the attacks on teenage collectors.
The security chaperones will accompany the volunteers, aged between 10 and 17, amid concerns many are now too frightened to participate in fund-raising efforts.
From this week they will be shadowed by motor enthusiasts from the Legion’s Riders branch, many of whom are former members of the Armed Forces, following the series of incidents last year.
Those attacks left the local Legion branch horrified and forced Army officials to visit schools to stress the need to honour the fallen and overcome cultural barriers.
In one incident, a 13 year-old Army cadet, Bethany Holmes, was spat at three times by a group of younger Asian boys while collecting for the first time.”
It is certainly unprecedented, I’ve been in some rough places in my time and I’ve come across poppy boxes being stolen but this, it’s appalling. Notice the weasel word ‘asian’ being used in Andrew Hough’s Telegraph article. These attackers were most likely NOT Sikhs, not Hindus, not Jains, not Buddhists but are most likely from our Islamic community.
I cannot imagine any group apart from Bearded Savages doing this and it is sad to see Mr Hough using the ‘asian’ word when he should have said ‘islamic’, it would have been more accurate and more honest.
The Telegraph article continued:
“Yobs also hurled abuse at two Asian girl cadets and two other sellers were sworn at in the city centre while one young poppy seller also had her tin grabbed from her shoulder.
“It [security] is something we need and it’s ideal because it would keep the cadets safe,” Barbara Allsopp, the Bradford RBL Poppy Appeal organiser, said last night.
The Riders is a branch of the British legion established in 2004, in which members include ex-forces motorcyclist enthusiasts, who offer support to the poppy appeal.
Rod Walker, a spokesman for the Riders West Yorkshire, added: “After what happened last year we thought our job should be to support the branches.
“You have to remember the cadets who are affected by this are very impressionable and in some cases they will turn out to be our future Armed Forces.
“We have to educate the public why we are doing these collections.”
Although I applaud the actions of the Legion Riders it is appalling that they are needed at all. This is not teenage banter aimed at the collectors, this is vehement Islamic hatred in action. Hatred for this country, our governmental system, our values and our service personnel.
Rob Walker believes that this is an education matter but I disagree, this is hatred for our armed services including veterans, inspired by Islam. What is needed is not an educational initiative but action from the authorities to deal with the Islamic aggression, crime and general disrespect that the powers that be so often ignore possibly hoping it will go away.
Islamic apologists demand that we in Britain respect Islam, why should we when Islam doesn’t respect us and has no intention of respecting us or our values.
