Those of us who suspected that the Hacked Off campaign was being exploited by the authoritiarian Left appear to be vindicated by this article by Andrew Gilligan of the Daily Telegraph.

Andrew Gilligan said:

“But though Hacked Off acts in the name of victims of the press, victims are not its central concern. Unknown to most of the people it lobbies, Hacked Off is a campaign not just to tame the press, but to claim the country for the authoritarian Left. It does want to stop newspapers victimising individuals. But it also wants to force the press to serve defined social and political objectives – at the expense, if necessary, of the right to free expression.”

Read the rest, via the link below, it is a stunning expose of the various creepy Leftist and anti free speech groups that make up or are associated with the Hacked Off group.  The information that Mr Gilligan gives should show everyone the true nature of the Hacked Off campaign.

  1. When I first saw that Hacked off was being fronted and financed by the likes of Hugh “Divine Brown” Grant and Max “spanking hookers” Mosely I instantly guessed what the real agenda was,and its no surprise that those thieves in Westminster were only too eager to jump on board and stop the press uncovering their thievery and general scumminess.
I truly hope every newspaper in the land tells Leveson to go fuck himself.

I also hope that this turns into a dog’s breakfast and a law that is ignored.

You’re right in all particulars except handedness. If Hacked Off was really directed by the ‘authoritarian left’ it seems unlikely that well-known leftie Max Moseley would be a prime collaborator.

I’m afraid Mr Hale that you may be incorrect on that assertion. Although Hacked Off is a leftist authoritarian entity it has attracted many celebs and others from outside the Left who have climbed aboard for their own purposes. Hugh Grant and Max Mosley are prime examples of this.
