This blog has been suffering from a bit of a spam problem of late. At one point I counted over 3000 spams in one 24 hour period, which is far too many to filter manually. I’ve done without a spam filter for as long as possible, as such spam filters do have a bit of a tendency to falsely filter out stuff that is useful, like comments, especially when the commentators first language isn’t English or, if like me, their spelling is sub-optimal.
