Life contains both light and dark, good and evil, right and wrong. We are now becoming all too familiar with the darkness that Islam brings to the world, but it is wrong to look only at the dark, because staring into the dark only brings despair.
Amid the hatred and carnage of the Islamic attack on the shopping centre in Nairobi, Kenya comes this tale of heroism and humanity. A Sikh, one of those groups who are the prime targets for hatred by Islamic fascists, led people out of the shopping centre and away from the killing ground.

Satpal Singh was inside the Westgate shopping mall in the Kenyan capital Nairobi when gunmen opened fire. He describes how he helped to lead some of the trapped people to safety, and even went back inside to carry injured people out of the building, despite coming under fire himself.
I was at the mall for a business meeting – we were upstairs where the Java coffee house is, where the children were doing their cooking competition at the car park.
At about 12:25 we heard lots of gunshots and loud bangs downstairs near the main entrance, so I looked to see what was gong on.
I saw people running in all directions, gunshots being fired everywhere and people falling on the ground. Nobody was going down there to do anything – people were just running away from the scene.
I ran downstairs, and reaching first floor I came across an armed police officer near a pillar and I told him let’s go down and see what the situation is and see what we can do.
Face-to-face
To my surprise, he never came down with me, so I just ran down alone where the jewellery shop is at the main entrance. I saw one man with his face down on the floor and another man was by the staircase bleeding.

Sikhism is a monotheistic faith that believes in the brotherhood of humanity and the equality of all. Its believers have often been the subject of violent attack by Muslims, and were almost wiped out by the first and second Sikh holocausts that occurred in 1746 and 1762.
To mix my religious metaphors a little, surely Mr Singh has acted in a way that has shown that he has chosen life instead of the Islamic terrorists who so obviously have chosen a path of death.
What the hell is wrong with these people , God only knows..rather Muhammed knows..years of inbreeding I guess.
The generations of inbreeding cannot have helped matters. But you are correct. Mohammed is the problem with Islam. If you tell people, under threat of death, as Islam does, that a murdering, robbing, lying, nonce is to be admired and emulated, then that is going to produce negative effects.
On a historical note: Have you ever read ‘Freedom at Midnight’by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre? It is a valuable record of the Indian independence movement in the 20th Century. Because it was published in 1975, many of the big names and movers and shakers were available for interview and the writers had access to much archive material. It also covers the tragedy of partition in grim but necessary detail and showed how ‘lines drawn on a map’ split families as well as nations.
