Local media making wrong comparisons in order to soften people up for the arrival of Islamic invaders.

Could this be some representatives of the 'vulnerable children' that this councillor is talking about.

give me give me give me-page001

This is an article in two parts, primarily because it deals with two separate newspaper articles. The second part can be found below the first part (logically).

One of this blog’s regular correspondents in the English county of Herefordshire has sent me links and hardcopy scans of how the local newspaper, the Hereford Times has treated what is laughingly called ‘the refugee crisis’ by the mainstream media, but which to the rest of us looks like an invasion of violent thugs.

In a front page article in one of there recent print editions, and in their online edition, they have an interview with someone whose life was saved from the Nazis by the Kindertransport which for those who do not know, was the rescue mission that brought children whose lives were endangered by the Nazis to safety in the UK. The interviewee, Maija Storey, aged 86 of Leominster, said that Britain should not turn their backs on refugees. Which is a fair point provided that the refugees are a) genuine refugees and b) will bring no trouble to our shores. The newspaper also it should be noted, piled on the pro-‘refugee’ jam quite thickly with stories about how local citizens are offering to help with the ‘Syrian refugees’.

Now Mrs Storey is quite entitled to her opinion, but neither she nor the newspaper is comparing like with like. They are in effect trying to compare Apples with Oranges. When she and the newspaper compare her experience, and that of others of being a refugee, with what we are currently seeing traversing its way across Europe, then they are being either mistaken or disingenuous.

The Jews who Britain rescued from the Nazis have on the whole, like Mrs Storey, been grateful to the nation for their lives, and many of those who were rescued either by the Kindertransport or other forms of rescue, have gone on to make great contributions to British life most notably, in the fields of medicine, art, literature, business as well as elsewhere. The violent thugs and savages who are trampling fields, refusing food, fighting with police and harassing their innocent hosts, that the mainstream media insists on calling ‘refugees’, are a universe away from genuine refugees like Mrs Storey. By their behaviour so shall you know them, and the behaviour of these so-called ‘refugees’ is telling us all exactly what they are like. If they are violent scum who use their children as human shields in Greece or Italy, why does anybody still believe that they will not be violent scum when they reach the streets of the City of Hereford?

Members of a few previous immigration and refugee waves could not be more different from the ‘Invasion of the Welfare Snatchers’, that we are seeing in Europe. They could also be said to be completely different in other ways in that this Islamic rabble we are seeing are completely undeserving of any help. The experience of places like Germany, France and Sweden who have taken these ‘refugees’ in has been appalling. Sex crimes, including crimes against children rise and many of the alleged ‘refugees’ come from cultures that hate us, despise us and see us as nothing more than prey and in some cases even as ‘untermenschen’. Across Europe, when it comes to organised sex crime, extreme misogyny, violence, sedition and gross intolerance, there is so often one common denominator and that is Islam. Those who campaign loudly for the so-called ‘Syrian Refugees’ to enter the UK do not realise that they are not letting in those who are fleeing from the modern equivalent of the Nazis, they are letting in those whose culture and belief are closer to that of Nazism than anything we see in the world today.

There are legions of fools who think that they are being kind in voicing support for these ‘refugees’ but they are in reality, letting in yet more of those who will ponce, thieve, whine and corrupt because they know they can get away with it, because stupid left wingers and liberals pander to them, and fawn on them merely in order to not be called ‘racist’. These alleged ‘refugees’ will probably end up raping children in Hereford, Leominster, Ross, Ledbury and elsewhere in the county, just as they have done in Germany and Rotherham and Oxford and Rochdale and Tyneside, among other places, because their ‘culture’ doesn’t expressly forbid it and because their founding ‘prophet’ was what we today would call a ‘filthy nonce’ who raped a nine-year old girl. All religions have troublesome characters and troublesome textual passages and they’ve dealt with them. Yet still Muslims on the other hand fail to either re interpret the more troublesome aspects of their ‘prophet’ or gloss over them. Christians and Jews have made these necessary changes of interpretation, but Islam has not. This is why there are so many Muslims who see sex with a pubescent or pre-pubescent girl as acceptable, ‘the prophet did it, so therefore so can I’, seems to be the pattern I’m observing. Those who are campaigning for the mostly Islamic ‘refugees’ to be parachuted into Herefordshire seem to neither know or care that their chosen pets may cause havoc, once they arrive.

I find the newspaper’s treatment of this story grossly irresponsible and dishonest. The Hereford Times failed to mention the violence (when it comes to Islam one should never forget to mention the violence) that is characterising these ‘refugees’ when on European soil. The newspaper did not mention the issue of fake Syrian passports being carried by who knows who, nor the fact that many of these Invaders are not even Syrian. This is dishonesty by omission at the very least. Bearing in mind the extreme differences between previous refugee rescues, such as the Kindertransport, and the army of Savages kicking off wherever they go, I find it extremely offensive to see the two situations compared. These ‘migrants’ are not fleeing oppression or running in fear of their lives, too many of them are here to rape our women and children and plunder the welfare systems of Europe. If you don’t believe me when I say that then, go do your own research online and see the crime figures and welfare take up rate wherever Islam is allowed to rest it’s sword.

Good luck with your ‘Syrians’ Herefordshire, you are REALLY going to need it.

Part Two;

Being a bit of a suspicious, cynical soul, who has formerly worked in media, I suspected that the parade of do-gooders offering help and the appeal to the emotions present in the first newspaper article had another purpose. Sadly, I was right, and it did appear that this article was a ‘softening up’ exercise on locals, in order to get them to think ‘oh poor, poor refugees’, instead of ‘f**k me look at all those potential rapists, murderers and thugs’.

In a second online article that my source supplied, the Hereford Times revealed that yes indeed ‘alleged Syrians’ were indeed going to be parachuted into Herefordshire.

Ahead of this Monday’s International Day of Peace, Herefordshire Council’s director for adults and wellbeing, Martin Samuels, said the authority is “co-ordinating a response to support refugees from Syria in a joined-up way”.

“Understandably, the people of Herefordshire want to show their compassion and we have had offers of accommodation and support to refugees,” he added.

“We are keen to make sure there are suitable provisions made for both the local community and the relocated families, however the government is not currently anticipating the need to accommodate Syrian refugees in people’s houses.”

Mr Samuels said that with “limited resource and available facilities”, the council has been asked by the Home Office to consider how it could support a small number of refugee families from Syria.

Officers, Mr Samules added, are now working across departments to determine how best to meet refugee families’ needs, in addition to continuing the council’s work to support residents and protect the vulnerable across Herefordshire.

It is not expected that the arrival of refugees will impact on the availability of services to Herefordshire residents,” he said.

We do, however, already have a huge need for more foster carers in the county, so that children can be matched with families who best reflect the child’s background and culture and be placed near to their own families, schools and communities.

We await further clarification on the needs and available support from central government, and indeed if we are to expect refugees to arrive in the county.

“Until we know the full extent of the Home Office’s plan, we are in a preparatory phase.

“I would encourage residents to support the established regional and national responses, which have been set up to provide the most effective and sustainable way of helping families who have been displaced.”

In collaboration with Her Majesty’s Government, the British Red Cross has set up a helpline for anyone who wants advice on the ways in which they can be of assistance to Syrians in need of protection in the UK. People can call The British Red Cross Crisis Helpline on 0800 107 8727 for more information. ”

Where to start with this piece? Well how about the complete and utter dishonesty of the statement by Martin Samuels the county’s Director of Adults and Well-being (an Orwellian title if ever there was one). How can he stand up and say that there will no impact on housing and other local resources by these ‘alleged Syrians’? Of course there will be. Then there was the politically correct grandstanding by mentioning the ‘International Day of Peace’ despite ample evidence that those the mainstream media mistakenly calls ‘Syrians’ are often anything but peaceful. An irony is it not? Another bit that sticks in the craw is the appearance of groups like The Red Cross and religious organisations all clamouring to do their bit for those who are a threat and not a worthy cause. Will these organisations be clamouring in a few years time for help for those afflicted by the sort of crime, especially sex crime, that these people will almost inevitably bring? My guess is that they will be as silent as the grave on such matters. That’s the last penny that the Red Cross gets out of me. Why should I contribute to organisations that aids, abets and assists those who hate me, hate my nation and as we’ve seen so often, hate the freedoms that were hard won by generations of Britons, of all religions and of all skin colours?

Having had the misfortune to once live in areas of the UK dominated by the ideology of Islam, I know that this ideology, this theology and this barbaric culture brings nothing to the table that we could not find elsewhere on the trash heaps of human ideas. It churns the stomach to see the local great and the good, the worthies and the wannabe worthies, campaigning for the entry of people who will do the local area not one bit of good whatsoever. It really is a case of ‘They know not what they do’.

The Hereford Times should, well at least at the time of going to pixel, be given a modicum of credit for keeping their comment board open for this story. Such a refreshing change from the closing of comments when the story involves the ‘Religion of Peace’, as has happened with other previous Hereford Times stories. Just in case the current comments do disappear, or are retroactively edited when the weekly shift comes to work in the morning (currently writing on Sunday afternoon), then you will find pasted below some of the comments. Sorry for the formatting on this bit, it’s just a C and P data dump. For the sake of transparency, you need to know that the person posting as ‘editor45’ is also the author of this piece that you are currently reading.

I feel extremely disturbed that the memory and the story of the Kindertransport has been so grossly and cynically misused by this publication, in order to make locals feel sorry for those people that they should be rather worried about, instead of flocking to assist.

I really worry that life may be getting all the more difficult for people in this area and it will be because of this unwanted and troubling influx of people who are often unsuited for civilised societies. It will also be because there are far too many ‘holy fools’ who buy into the idea that just because someone follows an ideology that says ‘kill the infidel’ doesn’t actually mean that they will indeed ‘kill the infidel’. Unfortunately history has shown that nothing could be further from the truth. When someone says ‘kill the infidel’ then you should damn well believe them and do something about protecting oneself from those who say ‘kill the infidel’. The very last people the people of Hereford need are loads of people who believe in ‘killing the infidel’. I for one would rather choose security and safety from those who mean me and others harm than feed them or pander to them. A poisonous snake no matter how much you feed it and cosset it, will always have the capacity to bite those who consider such beasts as pets.

If the great and the good and those brimming over with the milk of human kindness really wanted to do some good for someone then they would be appealing for help to be given to those from the war-torn Middle East who really are oppressed, such as the Christians and the Yazidis. Members of these groups in Iraq and Syria are still being massacred in their hundreds. The deserve help far more than those from oppressor cultures. We as a nation should not be helping or assisting those from the oppressor culture, that of Islam. Let’s help those who deserve to be helped, not those who are part of the problems and whose ideology is causing the problems.

To conclude: I think the liberals and lefties of Herefordshire and those who blindly go along with the mantra ‘religion of peace, religion of peace’ when it comes to Islam and the local interfaith establishment, are in for a very rude awakening. I hope they can survive it, and indeed learn from it, preferably before it’s too late.

One country in the Middle East that often gets overlooked concerning its unstinting help to refugees is Jordan. We hear a lot about Lebanon’s help and the help of Turkey on the ‘edge’ of The Mid East.
Although not a signatory to the 1951 Refugee Convention, Jordan has, with the help of the UN Refugee Agency set up huge settlements to cater for hundreds of thousands of refugees. Such numbers are fluid as the situation changes daily. The camps at Azraq and Zaatari are just two such examples. Jordan has its own socio-economic problems, but appears willing to offer assistance to its fellow Arab neighbours who are being displaced by war.
Under the UNHCR programmes, refugees are receiving help with health, education, etc.
It leaves me to wonder why other Arab states – notably Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and the Gulf states – all of which are wealthy – do not provide more assistance to their fellow Arab neighbours.

Cause they don’t want them as they know that will bring trouble to their countries. Type in google graphic MECCA TENTS or TENT CITY. Its accommodation in Saudi Arabia for 3 000 000 people used only like 10 days in the year when pilgrims are in Mecca. Its much closer than Germany, Sweden etc.

It’s quite simple. Middle class tree huggers (if that is your term for environmentalists, although you assume that no working class people are concerned about the environment – snob are you?) know that building new roads doesn’t ease congestion, it increases it, and that the housing crisis is as a result of the sell-off of council houses. Building new houses is important, on brownfield sites, as is bringing derelict and empty houses back into use. Did you know that a shortage of skilled workers is holding back efforts to tackle the housing crisis? That’s according to a report by Lloyd’s Bank, not middle class tree huggers as far as I know. Maybe we need more skilled migrants/refugees, not fewer? Does that explain things for you?

A refugee is a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution (religious, political etc), or natural disaster. One does not have to be from Syria to qualify for refugee status. There are many regions in Africa (e.g. Darfur, Eritrea, Sudan, Somalia, Libya) where people are quite legitimately fleeing war, torture, and persecution. Anyone has the right to seek asylum in another country. People seem to think that Turkey is a safe haven for Syrians, and that they should all just stay there, but Turkey, Greece, Italy and the Baltic countries where refugees are arriving cannot cope with the numbers – we all have to shoulder responsibility for a crisis which is partly of our own making. 86% of the world’s refugees are hosted by developing countries – the top 5 host countries for refugees are Turkey, Pakistan, Lebanon, Iran and Ethiopia, the UK hosts a meagre 0.6%. And for those who are still labouring under the delusion that most of the refugees are young men of working age, in fact over half are children. Speaking for myself, I do want my taxes to go towards helping those who are less fortunate than myself, including refugees from these unfortunate places. We are a rich country, and can afford it.

frankiechap98: I whole-heartedly agree with your statement I have quoted. However, should the Turkish (used as an example, I am 100% aware that other countries are hosting legitimate refugees) authorities not make the decision that they can no longer support the number of refugees, not the refugees themselves? These ‘refugees’ looking at entering Europe from Turkey and Serbia are by-and-large demanding entry and onward travel to Germany and/or Scandinavian countries; this does not sound like the behaviour of those fleeing persecution to this reader.

The following is not my own idea, but I think it is a good one. It is that EU countries take in refugees in inverse ratio to their population density. I believe that this country has the highest population density in the EU – due in part to the fact that EU law has already required us to accept the thousands of economic migrants from safe countries like Poland and other eastern EU countries. Under this method this country would be allocated few if any refugees. The government says it is “not anticipating the need to accommodate Syrian refugees in people’s houses”. So where does it propose to house them? Thanks to the selling off of council homes during Mrs Thatcher’s reign and later, there is a housing shortage throughout the country and many people born and raised in Herefordshire are inadequately housed or homeless in their own county. And how can the arrival of refugees NOT impact on the services available to the most vulnerable people in the county – who are already suffering because of council and government cuts in their care?

Just as a matter of interest…if Isis want to send their terrorists to start blowing us up, they could just return the British citizens with genuine passports who are over there fighting for them. No need whatsoever to smuggle them in.
Meanwhile, when this country agrees to accept the paltry handful of Syrian refugees Cameron is talking of, it means, disgracefully, Christian ones, not the many more genuine Muslims fleeing the bombing from all sides – Isis, Assad, the US and the UK. And haven’t any of you bothered to notice (no, of course you haven’t) how many of them are educated, intelligent people whose skills we can use?
They’re “well fed” (shock, horror) because tey are NOT fleeing poverty. They are fleeing because they have been bombed out of a relatively comfy existence. Just like the Jews in the 30s and the displaced Poles etc after the war.
I can accept that anyone coming from the Indian sub-continent is likely to be purely an economic migrant with no case for asylum and family already here. The Africans, certainly – even though there are many fleeing persecution – are looking for a better life. But don’t tar genuine refugees with that brush, and don’t conflate all these disparate situations. (Yes, disparate, not desperate, although of course that too).

A few points that are not entirely correct:

1. Persons holding British passports fighting for ISIS have most likely been identified by the authorities. They would need to be smuggled in as they would be lifted as soon as their feet touch UK soil.

2. Cameron has (AFAIK) never stated we will only take in Christian refugees from Syria. Why would he, we purport to be a secular state which welcomes multi-culturism in all its forms.

3. These refugees crossing into Europe are not fleeing bombing from all sides; they have already achieved this upon entering countries such as Serbia and Turkey. They are entering Europe to attain a better standard of life than they could in these other countries, hence they are actually economic migrants NOT refugees.

IMHO we should take in refugees, however we should be taking in those in genuine risk from harm, in other words directly from Syria, not these economic migrants looking to cross into Europe via Hungary and Greece.

While I do feel sorry for any person who has to leave their country because of anarchy and war, what we see on TV now is how people when told no, go into riotous rage to get to any country that is a soft touch, and will hand out money to live.

I have a favourite saying:- Give a man a fish and he will eat today, but give him a fishing rod and teach him to fish, and he’ll eat for ever.

Even with the EU migrant crisis in France and now the Syrian refugee crisis I am glad we are an island race. Until the Syrians arrived in the EU no European country was bothered about who got through it’s border and to me it seemed that the French did a half hearted job of “trying to stop” migrants getting through the channel tunnel. After all, our UK police and border services had to build the fences on the French side of the tunnel to stop anarchy erupting and illegal entry to Britain.

Here in Herefordshire, we don’t really know who the migrant workers are and while the majority are genuinely hard working people who want to work and support their families without hand outs, there are some who don’t follow that principle. Also there is a core of what could be called lawless folks, who make their money from racketeering and other illegal means. You just have to look at the unexplained assaults recently to put 2 and 2 together, because the police know who the bad boys are in Herefordshire, but when outsiders come in, they can’t explain events that crop up.

The local poll held by the Hereford Times clearly showed that 58% of responders did not want the county to be housing any more people, because Hereford Council have still got a huge waiting list for social housing from local people already in Herefordshire.

With all the austerity cuts already crippling this county’s services and jobs being cut too, unless the management tree of the council has the top tiers cut out where the biggest wage bill comes from for the least practical hands on work, and middle management can take a 20% pay cut, Herefordshire can not afford any extra bills.

The working tax paying residents of Herefordshire have already been stripped of their spare cash and any hike’s in council tax will not be either welcome or affordable.

Healthcare in our hospitals is already spread so thin it is transparent. People are waiting much longer for treatment and often have to do their own research on the internet to prompt the consultants into agreeing to treat the patients they already have, because the purse strings are being drawn in tightly.

If Herefordshire Council was a business out in the real world, and showed it’s balance sheets and accounts, the banks would be filing for bankruptcy, and calling in the liquidators.

These Syrian “refugees” are no more than economic migrants and after recent reports on the media about the way these “refugees” have acted in Hungary and Germany, has changed a lot of peoples perception. Let us not forget that these are mainly muslims trying to reach christian countries, a religion they abhor, not for safety but for money. These “refugees” will no doubt fail to integrate into the local communities and so likely create social and cultural division. As migrants they should expect to have identity papers to cross sovereign countries boundries, rather than expecting free passage, but this has been disregarded. I wonder how many families will now accept Syrian migrants rather than “refugees” given that 72% of those coming to the UK are men from the age bracket 18-30.

The people of britain are sick and tired of paying taxes for all their lives to be told our pensions and rights to a semi reasonable life is basically a no hoper..
Our taxes are given away to countries that squander it without regard to their own people..
And now britain is squandering our homes..our taxes..our health service..our future..to pay for so called migrants escaping wars in their own countries..
Yet even the people caring for the so called migrants say that only 40% off these people are actually from syria…Most just throw their papers and passports and claim to be syrian to get a free ride from poverty in their own country..and live off the backs of gullible countries that will house them and feed them..
What hope do the young people off this country have when its being taken over by a varied selection of migrants that will get treated far better than they will….Will our kids be given homes..will they be allowed benefits …

I dont throw stones towards your police, I work hard and dont expect benefits. I have my own house. I pay taxes (40% if it does matter) as my wife is. I dont leave rubbish whereve I go. Pav, you say, they scare you! Truthfully buddy, you frighten the life out of me! Given the terrible atrocities that were delivered to the Jewish people upon Polish soil, and given the affects of the grinding fist of communism that your people were subjected to for the best part of half a century that starved you of any contact with the outside world, I’d have thought you’d be able to look at the world with kinder eyes.
Truthfully, your attitude toward difference goes a great way to explaining why the last European Football Championships hosted in your homeland were so problematic to the authorities when it came to dealing with racism and the vile abuse that black players receive when they play in places behind the old Iron Curtain.
It’s not them that frighten me Pav. It’s you and anyone else that’s been fortunate enough to be given a home by my Country and still cannot grasp that ethnicity, religion and other cultural differences do not really matter. It’s what’s in your heart and in your mind and you buddy have a skull full of vile bigoted views that have no place within my modern and tolerant thinking society.
This my friend is Great Britain and the majority of us white Caucasians, Black and Asian Brits that were born and brought up in this great place don’t think like you and you’d do well to be a little more grateful and thankful that a lucky break that made you a citizen of the EU allowed you to come and live alongside us in our open and democratic society that’s tolerant toward bigots and racists such as yourself who are free to practice Freedom and Freedom of Speech.
From hereon, try thinking like a modern enlightened citizen of the world and stop demonising these people who only what what you’ve been given by my Country. A happy life and a chance to grow old with a family and not get bloody bombed from dawn till dusk.

Bobby47, Your comment is interesting, and without doubt I accept that atrocities happened on Polish soil during WWII and were, as the record shows committed by Germans, Poles, Ukrainians etc. However, I have to stress as I did in my previous comment that comparisons with the situation than and the situation now are difficult if not impossible. What is facing us, and at present marching across Europe, do not appear to be peaceful, frightened and obviously oppressed as were the Jews of Europe, but an unpeaceful, frightening and aggressive mob of well fed thuggish young men.

It’s a lovely fantasy to think that everybody is the same really, but the cold, hard reality of things is that people, political paths, ideologies and religions often differ greatly. Like it or not some religions are more violent than others and those who have concerns about violent religions should not be called ‘bigot’, ‘racist’ or whatever is the latest ‘snarl word’ from the political Left.

Also it’s because I’m a modern enlightened citizen that I’m extremely concerned about the sort of people and types of religious ideology that we may be importing.

I won’t me disputing with you about Polish history as I can see from that you know nothing about it. In regards of atrocities to Jews see statistic below and who is on the top of the list of helping Jews. Bear in mind that Poland was under German occupation and for helping them all your family would be send to concetration camp ( best case scenario). So think first next time before you call my nation racist etc.

Yes we do need to be worried. It would be terrible if the UK imported the very people who want to kill us all or otherwise do us harm, just because a section of the population wanted to feel ‘nice’ and campaign to bring in these ‘refugees’.

How many of these ‘refugees’ are head-choppers or ponces or sex-criminals or whatever? We don’t know and that’s the worrying thing.

Thank you for your comment. Thanks also for giving me too hits at the Lefty buzzword bingo game by calling me ‘bigot and ‘racist’ all in the first line.

I’m afraid that in the case of the ‘refugees’ the culture from which they come does have a bearing on a very important area, that of security. We have no idea how many ISIS sleepers are embedded in among the ‘refugees’, we have no idea how many may be armed and waiting their chance. What we do know is that these ‘refugees’ are often violent and have allegedly used their chldren as human shields.

The behaviour of those traversing Europe is not that of genuine refugees, and no matter how much you scream ‘bigot”or ‘racist’ at people, a growing number of people are noticing the appalling behaviour of the alleged ‘refugees’. They notice and quite rightly they don’t like it and dont’ want it to afflict their area.

I’ve got plenty of compassion, but I save it for people who are not a threat, and are unlikely to kill me. I save it for those who I deem to deserve it. I make a choice and I’m not going to support those who every day behave as if they are an enemy.

Go on, be disgusted, it’s your right, just as it’s others right to be worried about what is coming down the road.

I can’t help but comment about the placard being held up in the photo with the word ‘ Jesus ‘

Now if I’m not wrong this whole issue has been brought about by religion.. Throughout history the majority of all wars are to do with religion and religious freaks spouting off something from a fictional book / books. I can’t believe how many people in 2015 think it’s still exceptable that we bow down and worship a god and if we don’t we are going to hell.
People need to look at the comment Stephen Fry gave about being an atheist and what he would say to god if he did excist.

If County families have agreed to take on and house refugee families then I cannot see the problem however that could easily change once the novelty has worn off and suddenly individuals are in need of immediate care.
This Conservative lead government and council has been selling us the concept of budget crisis and no money for services within all these targetted departments but suddenly all is good with the world and we are fully able?
Somehow I just can’t see these poor families landing up in our rural Tory communities but more likely in the less affluent areas of our towns. Let’s hope West Mercia Police will get a funding review!

Herefordman99 you are correct in every respect with your comment. The Hereford local authority, like many others, so often pleads poverty and tells their residents and taxpayers ‘we can’t do this’ or ‘we can’t do that’ or we have to cut this that or whatever, because the council say that they cannot afford it. Yet suddenly, councils in the UK are expected to support, house, teach and heal thousands and thousands of people, many of whom are not genuine refugees and also not even Syrian.

There is no doubt that these alleged refugees (I prefer to call them ‘Invaders’) will be a terrible burden on the housing, healthcare, education, social care and on the police and criminal justice system. If there is no money left for taking care of the Britons who have paid into the tax and welfare system, why on earth are we taking in thousands of people, who cross safe countries in order access the UK welfare system or to work in the undocumented economy, when we cannot support our own deserving poor?

We have the appalling situation in the UK where we have ex service personnel, often suffering from the effects of their service, living rough, whilst local authorites prioritise the allocation of housing to people who by dint of being immigrants have not contributed to the communal pot or served the nation. Worse than that many of those that the pro-immigration people want to bring in and support on your tax pounds are those who often hold, as do too many of the so called ‘Syrians’, views that have no place in a modern society.

I fear that those in Herefordshire area who are welcoming these ‘refugees’ will soon fall out of love with their chosen guests just as soon as the rate of rapes goes up and the guests start to kick off. If you don’t believe me just look at what these so called ‘migrants’ and ‘refugees’ have done in places like Germany and Sweden, it’s appalling.

I’d like to conclude by saying how disgusted I was by the front page of last weeks Hereford Times. Although Mrs Storey was quite within her rights to give her opinion that we ‘shouldn’t turn our backs on refugees’, it must be pointed out that there is a universe of difference between those Jewish refugees who came over on the Kindertransport and by other means and those that the media today erroneously insist on calling refugees, who are smashing, screaming and rioting their way across Europe. The Jews who sought refuge in the UK during some of the darkest times in Europe’s history did no riot, they did not make excessive demands, they did not attempt to push their religious and cultural rules on to those outside of their faith, they did not indulge in appalling crimes nor did they engage in the sort of outright sedition and violence that we are seeing from these ‘Syrians’. To compare the flight of peaceful Jews from Nazism with the advance of the violent Islamic rabble that we see in Europe at the moment, is not comparing like with like, it is like trying to compare a banana with a horseshoe. To be quite frank it’s such a monstrously wrong comparison as to be downright offensive.

Good luck with your ‘Syrians’, your going to need it. Let’s hope that the people of your city come to their senses about the danger that is being imported before Hereford turns into another Rotherham, or worse.

Well said.

I am Polish but too young to remember WW2 but what I do know from grandparents that all refugees from Poland where very thankfull to people who helped them. They were doing what it was expected from them, never causing a problem. And all of them were womens and kids. After WW2 huge group of Polish soldiers with families had been put to refugee camps across the UK. Dont think you had any problems with them.

What we can see on telly/internet it is shocking. I lost all sympathy to those ‘refugees’. All they want is MONEY. They were safe soon as they crossed Turkish boarder.

They don’t respect our laws and they causing troubles and chaos to every country they passing by if theirs expectation are not met.

I think it is too late for Europe. That makes me really said
