Now That’s What I Call Non-Violent Direct Action. Mosque door bricked up in Germany

Non-violent direct action (NVDA) has a long and illustrious history. It can be as simple as refusing to pay the BBC Television Licence fee in protest at that organisations bias, or boycotting businesses that have abusive employment practises. It can also encompass the sort of sit-ins, lock-ons and passive resistance to arrest as used, sometimes with great success, by some in the environmental and Leftist movements. The campaigner for Indian independence Mohandas K Gandhi, along with the equal rights activist Dr Martin Luther King Jr were also well known proponents of non-violent direct action. In fact Dr King once said that the Gandhian way of NVDA as ‘‘the only morally and practically sound method open to oppressed people in their struggle for freedom’’.

Now it seems that German citizens, fed up with the imposition of the violent and destructive ideology of Islam on their nation by an out of touch and arrogant government, are resorting to NVDA tactics. Germans in the northern town of Parchim, situated roughly between Hamburg and Berlin, have resorted to some pretty creative means of fighting back against the ideology of Islam. German patriots bricked up the door to the mosque, which is situated in a former electrical transformer station. They then adorned the bricks with the legend ‘You call yourselves believers. We call you invaders,” which, when you look at the Merkel’s Muslims have behaved is a pretty fair comment. Those who laid the bricks also emblazoned some of them with a quote from the Islamist Turkish President Erdogan’s statement that: ““The mosques are our barracks, the minarets our bayonets, the faithful our soldiers”.

The ‘bricking-up’ protest was discovered by Muslims when they arrived in the morning to pray to their ‘dodgy deity’ Allah. The German police are investigating and are, as expected, blaming the protest on those who they refer to as ‘far right’. Personally I can’t see what’s ‘far right’ about not wanting your country invaded and changed by followers of a 7th century paedophile warlord.

This deliciously funny and creative piece of protest has not only upset the Muslims, who are of course whining like mad about this, but has also brought the pro-Islam Left and Islamopandering politicians who are of course condemning this incident. I find it difficult to completely condemn this incident as it isn’t violent, but makes a valid point about the incompatibility of much of Islamic theology and culture with that of Germany. When you consider the amount of trouble that Islam and its followers have brought to Germany, such as the rapes, terror, murders and welfare poncing that’s been going on, then discombobulating a few Muslims and upsetting Lefties and Quislings is a relatively minor response to the appalling series of problems that the followers of Islam have caused.

Maybe similar NVDA protests, not just ‘bricking up’ but also peacefully boycotting those businesses connected to the appeasers of Islam, would be the way for people elsewhere in Germany and Europe to make their point about Islam? It may be an option for people, especially as many of the legal and political routes for people to protest about Islam, seem to be getting shut off or shut down? This sort of protest allows people to make their objections to Islam known, but doesn’t involve the sort of mob violence that can sometimes be created when citizens, frustrated by their government’s policies towards Islam, say ‘enough is enough’. As a supporter of a political and legal solution to the problems caused by Islam I’d rather there be bricks in doorways, than bricks aimed at the heads of random, and probably innocent, Muslim individuals.

This is a creative and effective protest that has garnered a lot of publicity. It also doesn’t appear to have done any permanent non-repairable damage to the property and more importantly hasn’t injured anybody. We need to speak up about Islam and if necessary demonstrate against it because as we know from history, once you allow an authoritarian ideology like Islam to call the shots, then we lose any right to protest in the future. NVDA has a long and illustrious and successful history and I see no reason why patriots, as well as the Left, should not use it.

  1. “We need to speak up about Islam and if necessary demonstrate against it because as we know from history, once you allow an authoritarian ideology like Islam to call the shots, then we lose any right to protest in the future.”

It’d be nice if more people did, but it’s not so easy if the result is being fired from your job and being unemployable thereafter, or arrested for ‘hate-speech’ and being persecuted to the full extent the state allows its minions, or being violently assaulted by muslims and leftists while the police stand by and do nothing.

I agree with you, but if we don’t then things will only get worse. We can’t all protest, we can’t all speak up. But we can assist those who do protest by doing what we can to help them by contributing some cash to their causes, or speaking quietly to our friends and family about what is going on, and very important, by not assisting the authorities when they start asking questions about alleged ‘hate speech’ and who is doing it. The authorities would get nowhere or at least not very far, if people didn’t malevolently grass or more innocently adn foolishly have ‘loose lips’.

We are in a similar, though not so serious a situation, as those citizens of those countries that were occupied by the Nazis during WWII. They faced arrest or penury or death for speaking up or resisting and the also had to deal with collaborators and grasses, but resist they did. We have to realise that just as then there are collaborators and non-collaborators and we need to be aware who is on side and who isn’t.

There’s stuff that I can’t do because I have to protect both my immediate family adn my extended family from assault by Muslims, leftists and the quislings who work for the state, but I try as much as I can to support those who don’t have such pressures or concerns who are standing up for what’s right.

Gandhi, Dr King, Mrs Pankhurst, Sophie Scholl and many others faced arrest, imprisonment, penury and death but they walked the path of righteousness and freedom.

  2. It’s the boiling frog conundrum – the majority think: ” It’s not so bad, I’ve got a job and a house and the muslims I know seem alright – look at that nice woman who won the baking competition. All the racists the media keep telling me about are wrong and evil, islam isn’t a threat.”
Very hard to gain any traction in that environment. Even with almost weekly attacks on westerners, it doesn’t affect most people.

I agree but I’m noticing some cracks with more people willing to express a dislike of Islam even if they, quite rightly, can distinguish between decent individuals who happen to be Muslim and the ideology of Islam itself.

      • You’re right to some extent. Some of my friends are now critical of islam where before they didn’t even think about it, however that’s just in private – they still couldn’t express those views in public and certainly not at work without negative consequences.
We’ll just have to hope they jump out of the pot before the water boils!

Today many educated Muslims want to leave Islam but are afraid that they will be killed by their fellow religionists. By adapting the Sanatana way of life they need not change their name, diet, customs or undergo purification ceremonies; or say prayer in an alien language or visit places of worship; and live harmoniously with their neighbours. Hence the Muslims must be first shown a safe path so that they renounce Islam but does not arouse suspicion among their fellow Muslims. See http://ilovesanatanadharma.blogspot.in/
