Some egregious Islamic Lawfare busted in the American courts

Ahmed the dodgy Muslim with his equally dodgy 'clock'

In a world of horror and pain, mostly I must say pain and horror brought by the ideology of Islam and its followers, it’s nice to occasionally report a good news story. Readers may well be aware of the case of Ahmed ‘Clock boy’ Mohammed the Texan teenager who built a clock for a school science project that so closely resembled a bomb that it caused a panic at the school. Following the panic about Clock-boy’s bomb clock the usual Islamic suspects crawled out from under their stones and whined about ‘Islamophobia’ and accused the school of panicking more because Ahmed was Muslim than if he had been a follower of some other belief system. These claims were utter tommy rot of course as most ‘Islamophobia’ claims often are.

Ahmed’s family then embarked on a campaign of ‘lawfare’ against whoever they could following the incident and attempted to sue Fox news and Glen Beck among others for defamation. But I’m pleased to report that the case brought by Ahmed and his father Mohamed Mohammed, has been thrown out of court. Mohammed senior could not point to anything that had been said that would count as defamation and the case was dismissed after a mere three hours. It’s always good to see Islamic lawfare busted but it especially good to see the lawfare attempt quashed in such a high profile case· For far too long now Islamic groups have been able to use the legal systems of civilised and free nations to punish those who ‘offend’ Islam and to ultimately make those societies less free and less civilised. The threat of Islamic groups bringing ruinous legal actions against defendants who may have inadvertently ‘offended’ or ‘disrespected’ Islam in some way has been a major factor in why workplaces, schools and government agencies have kow towed to Islamic demands for preferential treatment.

But the case which Clock-boy and his family has just lost looks like it could be a turning point and a sign that courts, in the United States at least, are looking more critically at this vexatious type of legal jihad. This is to my mind a good thing and it is to be hoped that this is a sign of change and also that this spirit will enter the minds of judges in other countries as well. There needs to be an end to the consistent doling out of pro-Islam judgements in courts because of spurious ‘human rights’ or ‘religious freedom’ reasons.

Like I said the Clock-boy judgement is a good one for civilisation and the Truth Revolt website has an excellent account of what appears to be a very easily dismissed case of lawfare.

Here’s part of the Truth Revolt piece

He’s baaaack! Ahmed Mohamed, a.k.a. Clock Boy, a.k.a. Clockmed, the Texas Muslim teen who brought a disassembled digital clock to school inside a box that made it definitely look like a bomb. (Except not to President Obama, who thought it looked super cool.) But this time there’s some good news to report and it may be the last we hear from him or his family. Hopefully.

Check this out from American Freedom Law Center:

Following a nearly three-hour hearing held yesterday, newly appointed District Court Judge Maricela Moore dismissed a defamation lawsuit filed by Mohamed Mohamed on his own behalf and on behalf of his 15-year-old son, Ahmed Mohamed.

The motion to dismiss was filed by lawyers from the American Freedom Law Center (“AFLC”) and local counsel Pete Rowe on behalf of the Center for Security Policy (“CSP”) and Jim Hanson, two of the defendants in the defamation case, which also named as defendants the local Fox affiliate, Glenn Beck, and Beck’s production company.

Mohamed had sued Hanson and CSP for statements Hanson had made on Beck’s program about the connection between the Clock Boy hoax bomb affair, the attendant media frenzy created in large part by his father Mohamed, civilization jihad, and the Counsel on American-Islamic Relations (“CAIR”), the Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas front group in the United States that promotes civilization jihad.

AFLC attorneys argued that Mohamed’s “lawfare-driven lawsuit was to intimidate into silence those who might comment publicly on the connection between jihad, terrorism, sharia, and Islam.”

Judge Moore pressed Mohamed’s lawyer to provide anything to support his claims that anything defamatory was said about the boy or his father on any of the broadcasts in question.

After spending a painfully embarrassing 15 minutes flipping through reams of paper, Mohamed’s lawyer was unable to provide any such evidence,” AFLC notes.

This was a “classic” case of “Islamist lawfare, which is a component of the Muslim Brotherhood’s civilization jihad,” said AFLC’s David Yerushalmi said.

This is a brilliant win for AFLC and full marks to them for recognising that this case was classic Islamic lawfare and getting it thrown out of court. Not only that but AFLC are now going to pursue Mohamed Mohammed for legal costs incurred during this case. It seems that at least for the foreseeable future we have heard the last of Clock-boy and his antics. This case shows that Islamic lawfare only really works if societies become lazy and let these lawfare tactics work. It also shows that when properly challenged by good lawyers lawfare cases crumble into dust quite rapidly and can be halted before they result in far reaching judgements that can have seriously adverse effects on the wider society.

Well done AFLC. Another lying Islamic scumbag and grievance monger bites the dust. Let’s hope many more similar cases go the same way.
