Latest update on the case of Tim Burton versus the Mendacious Grievance-Mongering Taqiyya artist Fiyaz Mughal

Regular readers of this blog will be aware of the scandalous case brought by Fiyaz Mughal the founder of the Islamic ‘hate crime’ dissembler group Tell Mama against Tim Burton of the Liberty GB political party. For those who don’t know, the case revolves around a joke job application, for the post of researcher, put in by Mr Burton to the Tell Mama group.

Would you buy a used car from this man?

In the fake humorous job application Mr Burton mocked Tell Mama’s record for honesty, or rather their lack of it. Following the submission of the mock job there then followed a polite, if sarcastic, conversation between Mr Burton and an unknown person behind Tell Mama’s generic email address. The result of this joke job application was that Fiyaz Mughal, that thin-skinned, taxpayer funded, purveyor of highly dubious ‘Islamophobia’ statistics, complained to the police that the joke was ‘racial or religious harassment’ by Mr Burton.

Had it been anyone else, or even a member of any other religious group who had made this complaint, the, the police would probably have told the complainant to go away and ignore the joke. Unfortunately it seems that possibly because of Fiyaz Mughal’s extensive and some would day slightly dodgy, contacts with police and Crown Prosecution Service personnel, the constabulary didn’t just do the common-sense thing and say ‘F**k Off Fiyaz’. Instead they brought the whole weight of the law down on Mr Burton for having the temerity to mock such a well connected Muslim personage.

This is where we are in Britain today, we are a nation where people can be arrested, charged, brought to Crown Court and face a two year prison sentence if convicted, for merely telling a joke or engaging in harmless mockery. Mocking the powerful or the self important is a valuable right in a free society and one that can trace its history, at least in modern times, back to the days of the scurrilous ‘North Briton’ newspaper of the mid 18th century. The publisher of that paper, John Wilkes, was punished by the State for voicing an opinion that the government or powerful people didn’t like and was jailed for ‘seditious libel’. Just as ‘seditious libel’ was once used by the Government of King George III to shut up critics, so are the various ‘hate speech’ and ‘hate crime’ laws being used to shut up criticism of Islam and the opponents of powerful Muslim individuals. Back in 1763, the jailing of John Wilkes caused a public outcry and it has been said that the shout of ‘ for Wilkes and Liberty’ was often heard at gatherings in London of those disgusted by the government’s treatment of Wilkes and maybe we should cry out some similar slogan today?

We should feel the same level of disgust as felt by those who saw Wilkes jailed for his opinions at what the State and powerful Muslim individuals are trying to do to Mr Burton. Mr Burton’s fight against the mendacious grievance mongering taqiyya artist Fiyaz Mughal is not just his fight, it’s all our fight. If Mr Burton’s right to speak freely and offer his opinion is curtailed by him being imprisoned for a bit of mockery, then this is an attack on all our rights to speak freely, offer our opinion or even tell a joke.

Below you can find the latest update to the saga of the man who has been arrested for a joke. I urge you to read it and get some idea at what stage the case is currently at. I also urge you if you can to contribute to Mr Burton’s legal fund. Remember if he wins we all win but if he loses then we all lose.

Latest update to the Tim Burton case 2nd March 2017

Further to our recent update of 16 February, concerning the Liberty GB representative Tim Burton and his upcoming trial at Southwark Crown Court, we would like you to accept this token of our heartfelt appreciation for your ongoing support.

As you know, Professor Sami Aldeeb has agreed to act as an expert witness for us in Tim’s trial, giving expert evidence on the subject of Islam in general and Taqiyya in particular. He is (coincidentally) the author of a book (available on Amazon) concerning the subject of Taqiyya and dissimulation within Islam.

Professor Sami Aldeeb is the author of several other books available on Amazon concerning the subject of Islam, and today we would like to introduce you to his book “The Fatiha and the Culture of Hate” which deals with one of the main reasons that Muslims have such antipathy to our Western way of life.

The book is attached as a PDF and although it is very detailed, written as it is in the scholarly manner characteristic of Professor Sami Aldeeb, it would be well worth your while setting aside some time to peruse it, in order to further understanding of what it is that makes Muslims behave in the way that they do.

We hope to bring you more information about the trial in due course. As things stand, we are still scheduled for a three-day event at Southwark Crown Court beginning on Monday 27 March 2017, and if you would like to attend for one or more of the days scheduled, please register your interest with George Whale at info@libertygb.org.uk

Thank you once again for all your support. Please continue to spread the word in whichever way you can, through friends, family and work colleagues, or by copying and pasting this article on your favourite blogs and websites.

Never forget – the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

PS – Once again, Tim would like to thank all those who have contributed to his Legal Defence Fund to date – without your help it would have been even more stressful and traumatic for Tim than it otherwise has been – however we still have a long way to go to cover all the costs associated with the Crown Court trial, and every penny that you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

As always, Tim will respond personally to every gesture of support. Please continue to support this cause – all our freedoms are at stake if Tim is found guilty by the Court. This is a politically motivated show trial designed to make an example of Tim, and to discourage the rest of us from exercising our right to Freedom of Speech in this country.
