Peacemaker gets death threats from Muslims

The biblical Prophet Isaiah once wrote that ‘the fruit of righteousness will be peace’ which is a fine and justifiable aim and righteousness is an equally laudable path. However, this particular biblical prophet lived many years before the Arabian peninsular spawned the ideology of Islam and the horrors that it has created, both for Muslims and non Muslims.

Working for peace is something that most sensible people would accept as a positive desire. After all peaceful co-existence and trade is far more profitable and less destructive than constant war. Who on earth would despise peace and moves towards peace without good reason? Who also would issue death threats to a writer who appealed for peace? Yes, you guessed it. It wasn’t mentally ill Methodists who scream and shout and distribute death threats like confetti at a wedding, it was of course, the followers of Islam, the religion of consistent death and destruction.

In this case (H/T ROP) the peacemaker in question is a Hindu writer in India called K P Ramanunni. He wrote an article calling for peace and understanding between India’s Hindu and Muslim populations. He sought in his article a ‘religious harmony’ between the two communities and an end to conflict.

The response he get was what could be expected from the followers of an ideology that have distinguished themselves in the hatred and lack of peace stakes. For this act of peacemaking, Mr Ramanunni got in return threats, threats that according to the Deccan Herald newspaper, stated that if he did not convert to Islam in six months then he would die. He was further informed that if he didn’t convert then he would face disfigurement which was the fate of a professor who had earlier set an exam question that Islamic extremists had said ‘denigrated the prophet Mohammed’.

Mr Ramanunni has reported these threats to Indian police but even if the savage Islamic extremists are caught and taken off the streets, there will be many more Muslims willing to take their place. There seems to be in India a ready supply of Muslims who are willing to stand up for violence and hatred and who reject peaceful overtures especially those that ask the followers of Islam to reciprocate and examine honestly the points where their Islamic path contributes to conflict.

This case shows that there is little peace to be had in Islam or with Islam. No matter that the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful and want to just get on with their lives. These individuals must of course be protected, but they are to all intents and purposes irrelevant. They are irrelevant precisely because they are not a problem and also have little or no influence on the growing number of Muslims who read the Koran, understand Mohammed’s violent message and who then call for the deaths and subjugation of non Muslims. Little but evil can come from an ideology that has at its heart the word ‘kill’ and Islam is that ideology. Islam is an ideology that turns ‘blessed are the peacemakers’ on its head and replaces it with blessed are the murderers. Did Mr Ramanunni expect much more than the response he got or did he really expect a more positive response?

Mr Ramanunni has apparently done the morally correct thing, he’s gone out of his way to call for peace, to call for understanding, to call for honest examinations of faiths and cultures in order to facilitate better understanding and peaceful and profitable coexistence. His efforts have been rebuffed in the way that we should sadly expect those who follow and understand this death cult called Islam.

Islam a religion of peace? Don’t make me laugh.

I’ve encountered the members of many different religious and cultural groups in my life and I must say I’ve never come across a group more likely to lie and commit falsehood than the followers of Mohammed. It’s so damned brazen the ‘no muslim would give a death threat’ when they must know that such threats have been issued. This penchant for dishonesty, a dishonesty that is encouraged by Islamic literature and scriptural texts, is probably the reason why British sailors used the term ‘thieving Arab’ to describe someone dishonest or who thieves.
