Britain’s teaching unions are sliding into seditionary behaviour

Britain’s biggest teaching union, the left wing National Union of Teachers (NUT)has, by their disgraceful recent behaviour, inadvertently created a damn good reason for people homeschooling their children. Senior members of the NUT have attended a meeting set up by the Islamic extremist group MEND and have by doing so given the appearance of supporting the Islamic extremist view that the ‘Trojan Horse’ school plot didn’t exist. The ‘Trojan Horse’ plot was a sustained attempt by Birmingham Muslim extremists to impose an intolerant and aggressive Islamic ethos into some state schools in the Birmingham area. A government report a few years back found that there were grounds to be concerned at what was going on in Birmingham’s education system and that the plot would further distance Muslim children from mainstream society thereby laying the children open to brainwashing by those favourable to Islamic violence.

When the plot was uncovered the Islamic grievance industry of which MEND is but a part, went into overdrive to try to tell the public that the attempted takeover of these school was not happening, but their denials were eventually proven to be lies. Such luminaries as the former Respect party councillor Salma Yacoob and other Islamic nasties are among those slated to appear at the same conference as is being attended by the leaders of the union that lead those who teach our children.

It is completely wrong that representatives of Britain’s biggest teachers union should have anything to do with a group like MEND or parrot the conspiracy theories and lies that various Muslim groups have put out in order to try to hide the extent of the Trojan Horse plot. It’s bad enough that we have politicians like Wes Streeting and others engaging in political fellatio in exchange for Muslim votes and attending MEND ‘Islamophobia’ conferences, after all we have come to expect that sort of appeasement from Labour politicians, but for those who have the responsibility of teaching our children to have anything to do with MEND is truly disgusting. It makes me wonder that if groups like MEND are not beyond the pale when it comes for the NUT, then what does it say about NUT members classroom conduct? If the moral and political compasses of senior NUT members are so warped that they can line up with the likes of MEND, then how can we trust NUT members with the task of teaching our children? After all it is these members who have voted in as union leaders the sort of left wing extremists that give a free pass to groups like MEND and help to promote their lies and taqiyya.

A profession whose biggest union promotes the views of the unacceptable extremists of MEND is not one that I would unquestionably trust to teach my child. If MEND is morally acceptable to the NUT then it makes me wonder what other dishonest pro-Islam guff is being foisted on our children? The NUT is a creation of the teaching profession and the NUT’s actions by associating with MEND put the profession of teaching as a whole in a very negative light. In fact I would go as far as to say that dealing with MEND or promoting their views is slipping down the path of seditionary behaviour and it is disgraceful to see both politicians and the major teaching union take this path.

There may be many parents out there who are, as I am, worried about what sort of bent education is being served up to our children in British schools? Sadly these latest actions by senior NUT officers do nothing to either assuage these worries or give confidence that Britain’s education system is either effective or politically honest.
