If you are a regular reader of this blog then you will know that it has covered the problem of infiltration into schools by Islamic apologists and Islamic evangelists. From forcing a Halal only menu on schools with a majority of non-Muslims to employing Dawa-merchants like Razwan Ul Haq (see links below), there is growing evidence of the worrying activities by the ‘useful idiots’ of the educational establishment and the promoters of Islam.
The latest revelations about educational infiltration coming from the blog Harry’s Place allege that there has been an organised attempt to actually take over schools and turn them into Islamist/Jihadist indoctrination centres, funded by public money.
Harry’s Place said:
“The Sunday Times (£) is reporting that an alleged conspiracy to destabilize some state schools in England, enabling them to be taken over by fundamentalist Salafists, is being investigated by both council officials and the police.
The documents suggest that the strategy, called Operation Trojan Horse, should be used in Bradford and Manchester as well as Birmingham. “We have an obligation to our children to fulfil our roles and ensure these schools are run on Islamic principles,” they argue.
The papers say the first step is to identify poor-performing state schools in Muslim areas; then Salafist parents in each school are encouraged to complain that teachers are “corrupting children with sex education, teaching about homosexuals, making their children say Christian prayers and mixed swimming and sports”.
The next steps are to “parachute in” Muslim governors “to drip-feed our ideal for a Muslim school” and stir up staff to urge the council to investigate. The strategy stresses the importance of having an “English face among the staff group to make it more believable”.
Allegedly, the schools targeted included Regents Park, Adderley Primary School and Saltley School, all in Birmingham.
Assuming the allegations are accurate, this is a shockingly calculating and underhand attempt to subvert the system.”
I agree with Harry’s Place that the possibilities that this is an elaborate hoax should not be ruled out. However, with so many other examples of problems in Islamic schools such as extreme misogyny, the knowledge that Saudi money funds extreme mosques and the evidence of Islam being promoted by Leftist/Islamist collusion, I believe that at least some of the allegation could turn out to be true.
The comment from Harry’s Place by Dcook was especially enlightening and shocking. They said:
I have re;ated my personal experience here previously and so I am repeating it in context of teaching biased towards Islam in schools.
My child had to take a compulsory subject of Comparative Religion as part of GCSE curriculum. The school (not the RE teacher) chose Islam. We researched the course through a teacher’s portal and founf that the course was put together by MCB. The MCB’s own suggestions to schools on how to treat Muslim pupils was segregationalist (no undressing at PE, no mixing male & female children at swimming etc).
We decided to withdraw our child on the basis that as Jews I wasn’t going to have my child indoctrinated about a religion that would omit to tell students about the Muslim hatred and slaughter of Jews. Note that we never had any objection through primary and secondary school about Religious Studies where all religions are taught.
I happened to discuss this with the RE teacher who confided that they were disappointed at being forced to do this “for the third year running” because he agreed with me that comparing two Abrahamic faiths was hardly a study in the diversity of religion. They preferred Buddhism, Sikhism, Hinduism as their comparison.
The other reason they privately objected was that their visit to the local mosque was always accompanied by attempts to prosletyse to the children.
I didn’t want my child to learn a whitewash of Islam for some politically correct plan by the school.”
I would probably have done the same and withdrawn my child in this situation and for similar reasons. It is not acceptable that a false and sanitised version of Islam is being given to our children, it is a scandal. Maybe it is time for other parents to become a bit more informed about Islamic propaganda in their schools and start to do something about it.
