From Elsewhere: More disgusting appeasement of Islam by the Metropolitan Police.

Many hoped that the Metropolitan Police investigation into alleged electoral fraud in the Muslim controlled London Borough of Tower Hamlets would herald a new era of electoral honesty in some of Britain’s Islamic ghettos. We hoped that we would ultimately see an end to the bent postal vote scam or the forcing of Muslim women to vote whichever way the Muslim community leaders decide. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be and our trust in the Metropolitan Police has again been misplaced.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Met have decided to take the path of Islamic appeasement and drop their inquiry into gross voting irregularities in Tower Hamlets. This to my mind, and will probably seem the same way to many others, is an appalling act of appeasement and a gross dereliction of their duty to investigate crime.

The Daily Telegraph said:

Scotland Yard has dropped its investigation into electoral fraud in Tower Hamlets after finding “insufficient evidence that criminal offences had been committed”.

Detectives launched the probe after Lutfur Rahman, the borough’s former mayor, was found guilty of corrupt and illegal practices by a judge following a High Court hearing.

Mr Rahman was forced to step down and banned from running for office for five years following the finding by Election Commissioner Richard Mawrey.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: “After full consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service a decision has been made that there is insufficient evidence that criminal offences had been committed.”

The Met launched a full review following the publication of a highly-critical 200-page High Court judgement into voter intimidation during the 2014 election.

olice had received 164 complaints of election malpractice in Tower Hamlets in and around the election on 22 May 2014, which led to two people being cautioned and one criminal trial, which has yet to go ahead.

The review launched last year identified five new allegations, one of which could not be pursued as the one-year time limit had expired, the Yard said.

It also brought to light new material in connection with 47 of the allegations originally reported, police said.

The Yard said it canvassed the opinion of the Crown Prosecution Service’s (CPS) Special Crime and Counter Terrorism Division because of the “specialist and complex nature of the legislation”.

In other words the Met and the CPS (who are none too clean themselves when it comes to Islamopandering) have decided that it’s politically better to let Muslim criminals go free and let the electoral system continue to be undermined by Islamic communal politics. This is an utterly disgusting decision and it is to be is to be hoped that there is some sort of legal challenge to this appalling decision.

If the Met cannot bring themselves to investigate what looks to the public like reasonably sound case of electoral fraud by Islamic interests, how can we then expect them or trust them to protect us or our children? The answer is we cannot. If push came to shove and London was afflicted with the sort of Islamic Rape Gang problems that have affected other parts of Britain then this case shows that the Met is liable to side with the rapists and not the victims.

The Met and the CPS have made themselves a lot more less trusted after today and the effects of that new distrust are going to be long lasting and extremely dangerous for future peace.
