Video – UKIP’s David Kurten speaks of the chilling effect of political correctness

David Kurten UKIP London Assembly Member who has decried the part played by Political Correctness on the scale of Britain's Islamic Rape Gang scandal

Political Correctness someone once said was ‘tyranny with manners’. The speech codes and punishment for disobeying these speech codes has had a chilling effect on the free speech cultures of many Western nations, including the United Kingdom. There are few more obvious examples of how Political Correctness has undermined our society and the safety of our fellow British subjects than the Islamic Rape Gang scandal.

For years, decades even, various local authority social services departments, police forces and others, did little or nothing to prevent Muslim men from sexually exploiting children and young women from both the majority White Christian/Agnostic community and from other minority communities such as the Sikhs. The social workers were steeped in leftist thought and dogma about minorities as victims and partly because of that adherence to dogma, probably didn’t do as much as they could do to tackle the Islamic Rape Gang problems. Like the police, the social service department employees also suffered from the effect of Political Correctness in terms of how PC created a culture where the truth about these Islamic Rape Gangs could not easily be told. Officers lived in fear, because of a PC culture, of being accused of being ‘racist’ for bringing up the problem of Islamic Rape Gangs in police circles. Because of the power that this PC culture has it was all too easy for an officer to find that their career would be curtailed should they bring up the embarrassing and un-PC fact that a lot of Muslim men seem to be addicted to rape.

The video below is of David Kurten a United Kingdom Independence Party London Assembly member and a staunch opponent of Political Correctness and the damage that it is doing to our society. In this video Mr Kurten talks about the culture of silence that Political Correctness fostered in our police forces and how this culture has led to the situation where thousands upon thousands of British girls and young women have been brutally exploited by Muslim men. Mr Kurten makes the valid point that this problem is ‘not one that affects all Muslims’, but there is a noticeable propensity for Muslim men to be involved in exploitative sexual activity.

I think that Mr Kurten did well against a Russia Today interviewer who seemed to be falling back on the usual Politically Correct backstops of not inciting hatred against minorities and engaging in aggressive questioning of Mr Kurten. As a side note before we get to the video itself I’d like to say that I would not normally, for reasons of fake news and Russian govt funding, treat the Russia Today channel as an honest source. However, in this case, I feel that I can make an exception to my usual rule as this is a basic face to face interview rather than one of the more dubious news pieces that appear on the Russia Today channel.

Here’s the video of Mr Kurten’s interview and I feel that he talks a lot of sense here. We have to deal with our problems of Islamic Rape Gangs. Doing nothing or hiding behind PC or trying to deflect enquiries away from the Islamic aspect of these crimes is no longer good enough or acceptable.
