Has Corbyn ever met a Jew-hater or an anti-Israel activist that he hasn’t liked?

Jeremy Corbyn, leader of the Labour Party

The number of stories emerging regarding Jew hatred and anti-Israel lunacy in Corbyn’s Labour Party could give the impression that Jeremy Corbyn has never met an anti Israel activist or even a Jew hater that he either did not like or would not support. Corbyn has been caught on record calling the genocidal lunatics of Hamas and Hezbollah ‘friends’, something he later was forced to apologise for. Corbyn has also appeared on the Iranian propaganda TV outlet Press TV alongside an Islamic terrorist who committed an atrocity in Israel and even one of Corbyn’s favourite local places of worship is the extremism-linked Finsbury Park Mosque. Now another Corbyn scandal is starting to emerge from the woodwork as it has been revealed in the British press that back in 2010 Corbyn appeared on stage with a far left Holocaust survivor who accused Israel of using the memory of the Holocaust as a weapon against the ‘Palestinians’.

Sky News said:

Jeremy Corbyn has apologised for sharing a platform with people “whose views I completely reject”.

It follows a complaint made by the The Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) to the Equality and Human Rights Commission concerning a 2010 Holocaust Memorial Event, which Mr Corbyn attended.

One of the key speakers, Auschwitz survivor Hajo Meyer, was an outspoken critic of Israel, who had claimed that the country was using the Holocaust to justify crimes against the Palestinians.

He had also previously said that Israel wanted to foment anti-Semitism in the world to encourage more Jews to migrate there.

Responding to the CAA charge Mr Corbyn said: “The main speaker at this Holocaust Memorial Day meeting, part of a tour entitled ‘never again – for anyone’, was a Jewish Auschwitz survivor. Views were expressed at the meeting which I do not accept or condone.

It looks as if in this instance Corbyn is yet again being forced to express contrition for his appearance at an event alongside far left lunatic Israel haters that he should have refused to attend in the first place. This is yet another seemingly fake apology from Corbyn for yet another instance of monstrously bad political judgement on his part. Whilst can readily concede that any of us who are politically involved can sometimes find ourselves mistakenly standing alongside those with whom we vehemently disagree, Corbyn seems to have made a bit of a habit of doing this.

Corbyn has been caught out so many times glad-handing Islamic, far left, Israel-hating and Jew-hating nutcases, that it’s very easy to come to the conclusion that Corbyn’s association with such people are not ‘mistakes’ but deliberate decisions on his part. Nobody forced Corbyn to say nice things about extremist mosques, or appear on Press TV alongside a murderous terrorist nor attend events with far left Israel-hating Jewish communal outliers such as the late Hajo Meyer. Corbyn decided to do these things. He made active decisions to say and do and attend the events, assist the propagandists and say the words that he has done.

Do I think that Corbyn is a raging anti-Semite? Who knows what’s inside this man’s addled political mind. But, what we do know, is that Corbyn seems to choose to associate with, assist and appear alongside a far greater number of Jew haters and Israel haters than could be considered as normal for any sensible person to associate with. Corbyn seems to get on with these hate filled lunatics and that is something that should fill every Briton, whether they are Jewish or not Jewish, with a deep sense of foreboding about what a Corbyn government would be like.
