Sajid Javid is correct, the illegal Channel crossers are not genuine refugees

Did this man, a former Home Secretary, lie to us about the deportation of illegal Channel invaders? It certainly seems to be the case.

Whilst I have little trust or confidence that Home Secretary Sajid Javid about the way that he handling the current Cross Channel Migrant Invasion crisis, he is 100% correct in describing the invaders as ‘not genuine refugees’. After the way that previous Home Secretaries, including the current Prime Minister Theresa May kow towed to ‘refugee’ shroudwavers such as Lord Dubs and the Citizens UK group over the issue of ‘child’ migrants at Calais, it is refreshing to see a Home Secretary speak some truth about this issue.

That fact is that if these migrants were genuine refugees seeking shelter then they would have claimed asylum in the first safe country they came to. France, despite having its own political problems at present, is not an unsafe country and there should be no question at all of those illegally entering UK waters from France being seen as ‘refugees’. They should ideally be returned to the safe country from which they embarked on their illegal journey to the United Kingdom, which is in this case France.

I may not like Sajid Javid, I may not trust Sajid Javid, but he’s correctly identified a major problem and for that I am willing to give him credit for doing so. The very fact that he’s upset various ‘refugee’ and pro migrant organisations with his comments should indicate that he is correct. If he is taking flak from the likes of the Refugee Council and Walthamstow Labour MP Stella Creasy then it’s an indication that he must be right over the prime target and should continue speaking the truth about the nature of those attempting to enter the UK illegally via the English Channel.
