The self exploding Indian mosque – more evidence that Islam is NOT a religion of peace

An interesting story has emerged from India recently that should not just concern and worry Indian citizens, but should also cause those of us in the West to ask ‘what’s going on in the mosques in our nations’? According to an online publication Swarajya Magazine, (h/t ROP) there was an explosion at a mosque in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, which turned out to be more worrying than was first thought.

Initially it was thought that an electrical problem in an inverter battery caused the explosion that ripped out the doors and windows of the mosque. However, after a more detailed forensic examination of the site of the explosion, it turned out that this was not the result of an electrical accident but due to explosives that had been stored at the mosque. As a result of the discovery the police issued a First Investigation Report (FIR) against seven people, four of whom, including the Imam, have been arrested whilst three others have absconded from the police.

Swarajya Magazine said:

The blast took place in Bairagai Patti village here on Monday (11 November) afternoon. The explosion was strong enough to rip apart doors and windows in the mosque, say reports.

During interrogation, the cleric admitted that he and some other youths had kept the explosives in the mosque.

The others arrested are Izhar, Aashiq and Javed — all residents of the Bairagi Patti village, said Vinod Kumar Mishra, SP (Kushinagar)

The first question that we need to ask about this case is why on Earth was this mosque storing explosives? Was it for legitimate reasons or for reasons of jihad? I’m afraid that the way that the police are approaching this case does point to these explosives being stored in the mosque for nefarious purposes. Further evidence of not all being well with this mosque comes from the excuses that were put about about the explosion prior to the discovery that this was not an electrical problem, but instead the result of explosive materials.

The fact that this mosque was storing explosives only came to light because of this premature explosion should be a matter that should make the Indian authorities wonder just how many more of the nation’s mosques are not peaceful, but are instead little more than arms dumps? It should also be a matter of concern for the police and security forces of other nations which are afflicted by Islamic terrorism, nations such as the United Kingdom. Because Muslims kick up an enormous and disproportionate fuss about police interest in what is going on in Britain’s mosques, or even the presence of police boots in mosques.   There doesn’t seem to have been any major raids on mosques since the early part of this century. This was when the Finsbury Park Mosque was raided by police following the discovery of connections between this mosque and extremsim. This raid uncovered a number of offensive weapons such as imitation firearms, CS gas and a number of items of false documentation being kept on the mosque premises.

There could be many more mosques that are harboring either terrorists, extremists or offensive material (and I don’t just mean copies of the Koran) away from the prying eyes of the police and security authorities, not just in India but around the world? It would be right and proper if various security authorities put aside matters of political correctness or fears of being accused of ‘Islamophobia’ and find out exactly what is going on or being stored in the mosques situated in majority non-Muslim countries. Islam is not a ‘religion of peace’ and it is morally right and proper that because of this fact, mosques need to be opened up, by coercion if necessary, to outside public and state scrutiny.
