Britain is currently under a lockdown because of the Chinese Covid19 virus. There is of course a lot of debate about whether the lockdown is causing more damage and deaths than is the virus, but that is a matter for another article.
What is pertinent today and for the purposes of this article, is that Britons have had their movements and their freedom curtailed to an astonishing degree, possibly the worst ever peacetime restrictions we’ve seen. We can’t go to the pub, we are being policed by an arrogant and out of control police force that seems to be enjoying the extra powers that the Government foolishly gave them.
Nearly everything that makes life bearable is closed. This includes outdoor children’s playgrounds, despite Covid 19 not being especially dangerous to healthy children with no underlying medical conditions.
But there is one thing that is open and has remained open and that are Britain’s borders. The UK Government did not do what countries like Israel did and stop travel into the country when the virus first became known to be a potential problem. Because of that Britain’s borders have remained open to both legal travelers at ports and the illegal migrant invaders who cross the channel in small boats.
Now we have another example of how there are strict rules for the British subject but virtually none for unwanted migrants and pretend ‘refugees’. According to reports in the press, including some highlighted by the Ambush Predator blog, the Government, under the influence of the Left wing and pro-open borders organisation Citizens UK’s spin off group ‘Safe Passage’, has allowed illegal migrants in Greece to join supposed ‘family members’ in the UK.
These migrants in Greece did not in the main enter Greece legally, they either crossed the Turkish – Greek land border without permission or came from Turkey on small boats. They will join other migrants who have made it to the UK. This latest tranche of mostly Islamic and other third world migrants coming from Greece have been flown in at great UK taxpayer expense at a time when Britain’s economy is suffering greatly from the adverse effects of the lockdown.
Some of these unwanted migrants from Greece are said to be suffering from medical conditions and it is more than likely that these migrants will end up getting treatment provided by the National Health Service. Remember that this is the same NHS that Britons are now excluded from using as normal due to the panic over Covid19.
The kow towing by the Government to the Safe Passage group and their moronical mascot Lord Dubs, is a slap in the face to the many Britons who are suffering from the terrible effects of the lockdown. It is a betrayal by the Government of the millions of people who voted Conservative in December 2019 and who did so partly because they believed that the Tories would finally do something about the excessive and disruptive immigration that Britain suffers from.
Britain is in the appalling situation where the children’s playgrounds are closed, but the borders are wide open to all comers, even to those who will be a burden or a danger to Britain in the future. This situation is, as Ambush Predator has said, a complete ‘insanity’.

They also have considerable political influence in the UK and I believe as do others I’ve spoken to on the subject, that this influence needs to be curtailed.
