Now That’s Why Pakistan Is A S***hole. Volume 132 – Female babies left to die on rubbish heaps.

Anyone with any knowledge of the Islam-created shithole that is Pakistan will understand that this place is mired in lethal misogyny. Women and girls in Pakistan are treated there like women have always been treated in mainstream Islam, which is as worthless when compared to men and boys.

Today’s story from Pakistan shows us just how lethally disrespectful of women’s lives Islamic societies like Pakistan really are. According to a story on an anti-abortion website called Life News that has been sent to me by one of this blog’s contacts, female newborns have been left to die on rubbish heaps in Pakistan. The low value that Islamic Pakistani society places on women and girls has led to the situation where female babies are considered as disposable.

Life News said:

Hundreds of dead newborn babies – almost all of whom were girls – were discovered in garbage dumps in several major cities in 2017.

Leading the cause to end infanticide in Pakistan are the Edhi Foundation and Chhipa Welfare Foundation. Their staff tell horrifying stories about finding newborn babies with their throats cut and watching a religious leader call for a baby to be stoned to death because the baby was assumed to be “illegitimate.”

The groups said a cultural preference for male children, poverty and harsh punishments for out-of-wedlock children are some of the reasons for the high rate of infanticide. Studies show evidence of sex-selection abortions as well in Pakistan and other Asian countries. In some cases, studies indicate women are pressured or even forced to abort unborn baby girls.

Whilst I admit that a preference for boys is a feature in other Asian cultures and not just Pakistan, it’s more than obvious that the general cultural preference of people in the region is made much worse by Islam’s baked in misogyny. Other countries and other cultures can be changed by education to value women and girls but it is much more of a difficult task when the preference is backed up by religious edict or commandment.

The Life News piece is from 2018 but I very much doubt that things have improved between then and now. Countries like Pakistan that still execute people for blasphemy against Islam are hardly likely to change and become less misogynistic in such a short time.
