Are you a bully with no friends who delights in following orders? If so the BBC would love to hear from you.

Are you the sort of person who was bullied at school and who now wants to be the bully? Do you have no friends and no scruples or morals? Would you or others consider you to be a person who is only on distant nodding terms with honesty? Are you too much of a knee-jerk order following sociopath for any UK police force to want to accept you, not even the Met? Do you consider a pensioner fair game for intimidation? Do you feel that you were born out of time and that you would have been much happier if jobs like Gulag guard or East German border officer or being a Nazi ‘blockwart’ aka informer/enforcer were still available to you?

Well if you are that sort of low life, then you are in luck. There’s a possible job for you working for BBC TV licence enforcement.

According to Unity News Network who are in turn quoting from The Daily Mail newspaper, the BBC is actively recruiting nearly 800 staff to chase people for payment of Television Licence fees. The BBC is setting up new call centres to hassle pensioners to pay their £157 per annum TV licence who previously did not have to pay for a licence if they were over 75.

Unity News is saying that the Daily Telegraph is estimating that the BBC is spending nearly £38 million pounds on setting up the new licence chasing unit with a subsequent cost to the BBC of £13 million per year.

I’ve been watching this story develop and there is a high level of justifiable anger from pensioners and pensioner’s groups about the BBC’s decision to end the exemption that the over 75’s used to have from payment of the licence fee. This anger is because many of those who will now be expected to pay the licence are some of Britain’s poorest pensioners and although some pensioners on specific benefits will still get a free TV licence, this is not enough. There are likely to be tens of thousands of pensioners who are on low incomes but not low enough incomes to qualify for a free licence, who are going to be placed in penury in order to pay for a TV licence.

The BBC is giving every sign that they are going to play hardball with any pensioner who resists the increasingly hated TV tax. This is why the BBC is recruiting 800 people to bully pensioners and send in court bailiffs to those who can’t or won’t pay for the BBC and the increasing amount of dross that this entity puts out. Many pensioners are stuck indoors all day with only the television for company and the vast majority of these pensioners are those who have contributed a lifetime of payments in income tax, VAT and of course TV licence fees. I don’t believe that the whole concept of a TV licence is tenable in the modern digital age and an increasing number of people do not want to be forced to pay for the sort of left wing guff that passes for BBC factual programmes and drama offerings these days. However, shouldn’t those who have contributed so much over so many years and whose TV licence payments in the past have enriched the BBC immensely, at least get a free TV licence?

The BBC don’t seem to think so and this is why they’ve recruited this new goon squad to try to pressure and terrify pensioners into what in some cases may be a choice between eating or paying the BBC. You can learn a lot about an entity, whether public or private, by how they treat their customers or how they treat the public. What this latest attempt to bully the public and indeed one of the most vulnerable sectors of the public coupled with the BBC’s decision to spend £100 million on ‘increasing diversity’ in the BBC tells us about the BBC is that this organisation holds the public in contempt. To the BBC the British public, including the most poor and vulnerable among us, are nothing more than cash cows to be milked regularly so that the BBC can put out left wing propaganda, be shielded from the disinfecting sunshine of the market and pay its staff considerably more than would be their open market value.

It’s time for Britons to go to metaphorical war against the BBC which is not giving Britons the impartial national broadcasting service that we both desire and deserve. Their news programmes drip with left wing bias and well loved series such as Dr Who are terminally trashed so that the ‘Woken SS’ are happy with it but nobody else is. Why should anybody pay for this crap let alone vulnerable pensioners? Maybe we need a similar approach to dealing with the BBC and the licence fee as the left took with Margaret Thatcher’s Poll Tax, which is to pledge to ‘don’t pay and don’t collect’? People should not pay the licence fee and should not do the BBC’s dirty work by acting as collection agents or joining the new call centre specifically set up to hassle pensioners for their £157 just so that the BBC can waste it on yet more unnecessary ‘diversity’ guff and Britain hating.

Those who join the BBC’s latest attempt to screw money out of those who have already substantially contributed to the UK are likely to be the sort of person who you would not trust with your child and whom you would certainly not wish to buy a used car from, in other words, the scum of the earth. The people who take one of these 800 jobs with the BBC will I predict end up being hatred and despised by the average Briton because of what they do and because they had no moral qualms about taking such an odious job. They will be as despised as would be a low level functionary of an oppressive government and I would advise those tempted to take one of these BBC revenue jobs to consider whether or not you want to be that hated or have the bullying of pensioners on your conscience?
