From Elsewhere: The Labour Party loves flags, just not British ones.

Sir Keir Starmer has realised that the Labour Party’s image in the Red Wall seats that they lost in the last General Election is not good. He knows that the party is perceived as being unpatriotic and a party that hates Britain and indeed Britons themselves. Because of this Sir Keir is trying to cynically wrap Labour in the British flag, not because he believes in the United Kingdom or wants to trumpet the nation’s achievements or culture, but because he believes that it will win votes.

In this short video below from Turning Point UK contributor Oscar Lopez the fact that Labour loves flags, just not British ones is criticised. Mr Lopez makes the very valid point that at Labour conferences you can see LGBT flags, Pakistani flags, Palestinian flags but rarely British flags.

I agree with Mr Lopez that Sir Keir’s attempt to wrap himself in the Union Flag is empty and cynical politicking and it is not something that would tempt me to vote Labour. Sir Keir could wrap the Labour Party in a hundred Union Flags but I’d still rather eat my own excrement than ever vote Labour as I know from long study of this party that it is profoundly anti-British.
