Quote of the Day 06th October 2021 – Sometimes it is a parody account that really tells the truth about a subject.

Occasionally, it’s not the high flying academic or politician who voices uncomfortable truths on social media, sometimes parody accounts do so too. Parody accounts on social media occupy in our world a similar place to what Hogarth, Gillray and Rowlandson did in the 18th and 19th centuries and perform a similar function of mocking the stupid, the intemperate, the hypocritical and the powerful.

A post on a parody account called Zarah Bukkake MP has for me really hit the spot in exposing the naivety and hypocrisy of Batley and Spen MP Kim Leadbetter. This seat is one that is beset by problems of Islamic extremism, so much so that an RE teacher at a school in the constituency is still in hiding from violent Muslims who want to kill him for using a cartoon of the Islamic prophet Mohammed in a lesson about free speech.

The Zarah Bukkake account, which appears to specialise in mocking the idiot Left, put up this post in response to Kim Leadbetter waxing lyrical about a jobs fair being held at a Tescos in Ms Leadbetter’s constituency. Zarah Bukkake said:

This comment is absolutely spot on. It’s first class mockery of a member of parliament whose party is all too often the beneficiary of whipped and coerced Islamic communal votes from a seat that might have been gifted to Ms Leadbetter by religious communal votes. I’d have much more respect for Ms Leadbetter had she defended the harassed teacher, but all we seen to get from this MP is silence or equivocation when it comes to this issue.
