If I did not know about or have experience of the wider Liberal Democrat Party and my only knowledge of the party was its elected representatives at Westminster, I would not be that enamoured of the motley collection of chancers, anti-democrats, mental environmentalists and open borders and trans enthusiasts that make up the Lib Dems Westminster cohort. I would most certainly not want to vote for representatives of this party whether for a local or national elected office.

However there is something far worse and far more extreme than the Lib Dems representatives in Westminster and in local government and that is the Lib Dem activists. Whilst some of those I’ve encountered have been relatively sane (a least for the Lib Dems) there are far too many who espouse lunatic policies that have no grounding in reality.

A good example of such a lunatic policy and one which is likely to have very little popular support is one that is going to be the subject of debate at the forthcoming Liberal Democrat conference. This debate is going to be about how ‘menstruation is not just a women’s issue’. What utter rot. This is because it is observable reality that only women menstruate. However despite the biological reality that only women menstruate Lib Dem activists seem to believe otherwise.

The Daily Mail said:

The Liberal Democrats were criticised today over plans for a vote on whether menstruation is not ‘just a women’s issue’ but also one that affects trans people.

Members at the party’s annual conference in Bournemouth next month will be asked to agree that periods ‘also affect some trans and non-binary people’ as part of a wider conference motion on period poverty that includes a call for better access to sanitary products.

It also wants better education for children and teachers ‘to ensure an appreciation for the lived experience of menstruation’.

Let’s get this straight here. Transwomen are men, transmen are women and non binary identities are often narcissistic bullshit. It is impossible for a human being to change sex.

I’m gobsmacked although sadly not too surprised to see Lib Dem activists trying to push the lie that it’s not only women who menstruate. I’ve come to expect such unreality of thought from a party that has to a large extent sold itself to the Cult of Trans and who have beclowned themselves by doing so.

Britain faces an awful lot of serious challenges over the next few years and these challenges pertain to everything from border security to the provision of services and utilities and the poor state of Britain’s economy. These are all things that a sensible party should be using as subjects of debate but the Lib Dems are no longer a sensible party and they allow discussion of these very serious issues to be overshadowed by the party’s screamingly mental ‘out there’ activists desire to grandstand over the trans issue.

If you were looking for another of the myriad reasons not to vote for the Lib Dems then surely the fact that the party can’t control its gender extremists or even tell them ‘no’ and that biological reality matters, must count as a damned good reason. If party members and activists cannot accept the biological reality that only women can menstruate then how can the British people trust them with the economy, energy policy, education, health or anything else that a modern state needs to manage?
