Puberty blockers ban – Good news but should have happened earlier.

We all knew it was coming but the news that the UK Government will ban the National Health Service from prescribing puberty blockers to children with gender delusions. This decision has been long in the making and was the result of campaigning by many people whose primary concern was the safeguarding of children from the dire physical and mental effects of gender pseudo-science.

The campaign to let children be children and to grow naturally and find their place in the world unencumbered by the ministrations of the ‘Gender Mengeles’ has not been an easy one. It is a campaign that has cost the livelihoods of many decent people who have had to endure being cancelled and hounded out of work by Transactivists who pleaded powerlessness and vulnerability whilst simultaneously being embedded and influential in government, politics, administration, policing, education and the media and calling the shots. Comedians, artists, writers, clinicians, psychologists and a whole host of those in less high profile positions have lost jobs, had career advancement halted, been turned off university courses, harassed by Transactivists and in some cases arrested by police forces that have swallowed whole and uncritically the gender delusion ideology.

These people have suffered these indignities and harm not because they are allied to any form of political extremism, but in large part because they could and would not consent to the idea that drugging and mutilating children, sometimes quite mentally vulnerable ones, so that their bodies conformed to their mental delusions, was a good thing. Loads and loads of people, some famous and some not, stood up against this monstrous child harming cult a cult that produced hundreds of damaged, sterilised young people and have paid a sometimes heavy price for doing so.

Taking the puberty blocking drugs away from the Gender Mengeles in the NHS so that they can no longer harm children and young people who have what are most often temporary issues with their body image, is a victory for both children and common sense. But it pays to remember that this is just one battle that has been won against the gender cult, it is not a victory in the war against this ideology. There are still loopholes regarding these puberty blocking drugs in the private sector and it is still possible for wealthy ‘transhausen’ parents to get these drugs prescribed to their confused children. There was a recent attempt in Parliament to close this loophole off but the Bill was filibustered by Members of Parliament who seem to treat the mental and physical safety of children at risk of unnecessary gender treatment as some sort of joke.

As I said the war is still going on. We still have trans ideology being accepted by or pushed in schools and at our universities. It’s still embedded and active in the National Health Service, the Armed Forces, the BBC and myriad other governmental, quasi-governmental and third sector entities. We are not as a society out of the gender woods yet but thankfully we seem to be on the correct path.

It’s correct in my view to offer some praise to the Conservative Party for bringing about the ban on the prescription of puberty blockers by the NHS. However that praise needs to be tempered and qualified because it was the Tories who have presided over the growth of the trans cult. The Transcult grew in influence and power under their watch. This happened despite the Tories having nine years, the time when they were governing alone and not in coalition with the Liberal Democrats, to take on board the mountain of evidence against the concept of paediatric gender transition to get to grips with this cult to tackle it and protect British children from it. The Tories whether in national or local government or in civil society generally either sat on their arses and did nothing or worse cheered this cult on and facilitated it.

As the cult of trans grew and gained power the Tories ignored all of the counter information that might have allowed the party, which has been in government since 2015, to curb it and protect children and women from it. The Tories ignored the women’s rights organisations who spoke out against the idea of allowing men into traditionally women’s spaces, they ignored the assault of women’s sports by men who by dint of their male bodies and their male puberty, ‘identified’ as women and stole prizes and places. The Tories did little over many years to prevent the abomination of putting male criminals, some exceedingly violent, into women’s prisons and only stepped up to the plate on this issue when confronted with the Scottish government’s ludicrous Self ID legislation. Worse still, when whistleblowers started to come forward to tell of the disgraceful excesses of the Transcult and its effect on confused and vulnerable children, they did nothing and ran scared from the Transcultists until the problems caused by the Transcultists became impossible to ignore.

We should have expected better from the Conservatives on the issue of the gender cult. We should have expected that this gender lunacy to have been countered by a party that has often touted itself as the party of the family. Sadly what we got from the Tories was capitulation to the cult of trans because of a specious and somewhat misplaced desire to ‘be kind’ to transgender individuals. A near decade of inaction when faced with this gender lunacy as it grew and cry bullied its way to political influence will be how the Conservative Party will be remembered. My advice to those Tory MP’s who survive the next General Election is this: You need to start working on your excuses as to why, whilst in government, you did sod all whilst the monsters of the gender cult were sterilising and mutilating children in the name of an ideology.
