I look around my own nation and neighbouring ones and despair is too often my reaction. I see the tensions rising the sort of violent ends that I have decried often becoming more and more likely. I see what is referred to as ‘demographic sorting’ where people tribalise and move away from areas inhabited by members of other groups, I see the ‘pilgrimages of anger’ in places like Thetford in Norfolk and elsewhere as people band together in tribal groupings to kinetically act to deal with the problems that have been brought or are being brought to their areas by government migration policies. I see the two tier policing and the ‘conditional policing’ of some migrant or religious minority areas where police have to have permission from ‘community leaders’ in order to police lest the police spark violence. I see a lot of bad stuff on a horizon that is all too near.
Dr David Betz is another who has seen the developments in Western society and who who has opined upon them. I tend to agree with him that there are signs that point to significant societal conflict.
In the video below Dr Betz talks about how groups are separating from one another for reasons of fear or cultural compatibility, how we now have what he calls ‘elite dissent’ from mainstream narratives and the rise of what could in reality be called local militias in Western nations.
This is a very depressing video but one that is worth watching.
