The blob of idiocy and abject cowardice in uniform, aka the Metropolitan Police, comes out to play.

Older Britons when thinking of London’s Metropolitan Police might think of the days when Scotland Yard had the best investigators, the specialists, the people you call in if you are the chief of a regional force that has got a hold of something bigger than they could handle. Others might think less kind thoughts about the met and these thoughts might include Met officers mocking striking miners during the 1980’s Miners Strike and waving their pay slips at strikers.

But today when many people think of the Metropolitan Police they may think of the weak, pandering policing of Islamo-Left marches where the marchers are openly calling for the death of Jews but the Met do the square root of sod all. You may think of the Met officers who dragged their feet when presented with gangs of Muslims calling for the rape of Jewish women or the obsession with ‘hate speech’ or wonder why the Met didn’t ask appropriate questions when one of their officers had acquired the nickname of ‘The Rapist’. There’s a whole lot of things that we could think about the modern Metropolitan Police and little of it is good.

It’s pretty obvious now that the Met does not police cleanly by which I mean police every community no matter who they are in the same manner and with the same level of robustness. A good example of this is a very recent story of a man being arrested on Westminster Bridge for carrying a sign reading ‘Hamas are terrorists’. There’s nothing wrong with saying Hamas are terrorists, Hamas are classed by His Majesty’s Government itself as terrorists.

Here’s the case as reported on X

The Met are doing a pretty good impression of a force that is not policing equitably. They allow the supporters of Islamist murderers to clog up the streets week after week month after month but take exception to a man stating something that is not only true but is the same description of Hamas as that stated by the Government. It’s another free speech fail for the Metropolitan Police.
