From Elsewhere: Video – The massive changes in how Britain’s police look and how they regard us the people.

There’s a pretty thoughtful video that has been put up on the History Debunked channel about the changing relationship between Britons and the way that we are policed. Now I don’t always agree with the author of this piece in other stuff he’s said but on this issue I believe he is bang on correct.

The police have changed, they have become more paramilitary and notably less willing to police the public in an equitable and impartial manner. The Author’s description of what the police were once like, which was a symbol that crime was being deterred and punished and what they are now, which is something ‘other’ than the public who they no longer police with consent, is correct.

In this video the author also talks about how new laws brought in during the 2010’s that were ostensibly to control youth street gangs have been turned on the ordinary British subject. This is something we’ve seen in the case of the police’s actions in Gosport where the police used laws brought in for other purposes to basically lock the whole town down in order to facilitate the landing of illegal migrant invaders.

I find it difficult to disagree with the author on the changes that we’ve seen and experienced in how we are policed and it’s really not a positive change at all.
