There goes the Eastbourne neighbourhood

The site of the new Eastbourne mosque. As you can see a three story mosque is going to intrusively overlook the properties of nearby locals.

It looks like the seaside town of Eastbourne is going to get its very own ‘jihad and sedition centre’ with work starting on the town’s first purpose built mosque. The residents of Eastbourne can now experience the ‘benefits’ that Islam has brought to other parts of the UK. Benefits such as dishonest Imams who can be trotted out in front of the media whenever the latest violent Islamic atrocity takes place. If the experience of other British towns is anything to go by Eastbourne can probably expect a rise in special pleading to the council from Muslims for special treatment. Also expect the sort of Islamic local authority corruption and bent communal voting that we’ve seen in the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest. Let’s hope the residents of Eastbourne are spared the phenomenon of mass Islamic rapes and Islamic Rape Gangs which have blighted the lives of those who live in places like Rotherham, Abingdon, Halifax, Tyneside, Rochdale and Oxford.

It appears from the local newspaper report from the Eastbourne Herald that there was a significant level of objections to the imposition of this mosque but it appears that the ‘whipped mosque vote’ and a write in campaign by the Muslims and their supporters won the day. The mosque was approved with conditions such as attendance limit, no call to prayer loudspeakers and requiring the mosque to rent car parking spaces in a nearby car park. However, as I have observed the behaviour of many other mosques and ‘Islamic Cultural Centres’, I predict that it will not be long before one or all of the restrictive conditions are broken. In any case, it’s a dead cert that life for the non-Muslims who live nearby to this imposition will get worse.

Here’s the Eastbourne Herald report with as is usual policy for this blog the original text in italics with my comments in plain text.

The Eastbourne Herald said:

Building work has begun at the site of a new mosque in Eastbourne town centre.

The existing building in Ashford Square, which has been used as a place of worship for some years, is currently being knocked down to make way for a new Islamic Cultural Centre.

Is there anything about Islamic culture that the residents of Eastbourne need or want I wonder. Women in mobile canvas prisons? More welfare recipients? The presence of an ideology that hates Britain, its values and its people?

Planning permission for the new three storey building was granted in 2010 amid a backlash of protest from people living in Ashford Square and nearby Ashford Road who were concerned about an increase in parking problems and being overlooked.

You bet there was a backlash of protest and probably of it came from those who have observed what Islam has done elsewhere in Britain.

At the time there was a 184-signature petition and 40 letters against the application with a 401-signature petition and 61 letters in favour.

Sounds very much like an organised campaign by the Mosque-e-teers has been going on there, along with activists whispering in councillors about the ‘high level of support ‘ the project will eventually have.

The mosque next to the railway line was a former SeeBoard social club which leaders say was like a dilapidated old army hut, outdated and in desperate need of modernisation.

‘Outdated and in need of modernisation’ well that phrase could be used to describe the ideology of Islam itself.

The new mosque will have prayer halls for both men and women, facilities for children, a kitchen, Imam’s room, a library and classroom.

There will be a limit on 100 people in the building during weekly Friday prayers, no Call to Prayer, and arrangements are being made to lease parking spaces in the nearby Junction Road car park.

Like I said earlier, if the experience of others in Islamifying areas is anything to go by it will not be long before these conditions are either breached, or the mosque-e-teers go whining to the council for different more Islam-friendly conditions. If I was a local I’d be watching these mosque-e-teers like a hawk because they are bound to demand more than they are getting at them moment.

I’d be very surprised if this mosque imposition does anything that could be remotely termed positive for the people of Islam. In fact I can’t think of any area in Britain that has been improved by the addition of Islam. Good luck with your new mosque Eastbourne, your going to need it.

Earlier report from 2010 about the mosque plan which shows a considerable level of objection to this imposition and also the almost total appeasement to the mosque builders by local councillors.
