Yet more Islamic jihadists arrested – They are from Birmingham surprise surprise.

According to a press release put out by West Midlands Police earlier today it is stated that a man, presumably one of the local members of the ‘religion of peace’ has been arrested at Gatwick Airport on suspicion of travelling to Syria for the purposes of Jihad.

The West Midlands Police statement said:

Officers from West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit have today (Monday 4 April) arrested a man at Gatwick airport for Syria-related terrorism offences.

The man – aged 24 – was detained before boarding a flight.

Searches are being carried out at two addresses in Birmingham.

A 20-year-old woman has also been arrested at an address in West London; she has also been arrested for Syria-related offences.

The two are being held at a police station in the West Midlands.

There was no risk to any passengers at Gatwick Airport or to the wider public in relation to these arrests.

I’m completely unsurprised to see that addresses in Birmingham are being searched in relation to Islamic terrorisim as Britain’s second city seems to be leading the nation in the race to become Britain’s capital city of Jihad.

This is yet another indication of how widespread and deeply embedded in the UK’s Islamic community is the doctrine of Jihad and other examples of Islamic religious violence. For a ‘religion of peace’, Islam certainly seems to producing a large amount of those who are either violent in support of Islamic causes, or who facilitate Islamic violence.

By allowing parallel Islamic communities to grow in Birmingham for decades, the police and the local authority have provided the ideal seedbed for Jihad to establish itself and grow.
