I wonder how long it will be before British police……..

…….disappear even further than they have done already up the fundaments of their local Islamic Establishment and start doing what is happening in Bangladesh, which is arresting people for ‘defaming’ the Koran? After all isn’t that the next logical step for police forces that go out of their way to protect Islam from open debate and Muslims from hurt feelings?

Yes I know that there have been arrests in the UK before for protesting against Islam by destroying Korans, but these have been made under Public Order and shonky ‘hate speech’ laws, rather than under Islamic blasphemy laws. But, judging by the absolute disgraceful state of many of Britain’s senior police officers, I would not trust them to stand against any attempt to impose Islamic views on blasphemy onto the general population. I have learned, as many others have had to learn, that many of our police forces, entities that we all pay for to protect the entire population, to be disgusted but not surprised at the sort of pandering to Islam that these forces have engaged in.

Here’s part of the Bangladesh story from the Dhaka Tribune courtesy of the Religion of Peace website.

A man has been detained in Sonargaon, Narayanganj for reportedly posting on Facebook several photos defaming the Quran

Hasan-ul-Islam, 28, of East Delpara at Fatulla, was picked up from Meghnaghat area on Friday night, said Narayanganj’s Additional Superintendent of Police Md Sharfuddin.

According to police, Hasan posted the photos on the social networking site on January 7 which went viral soon, causing stir on social media, and created tension among the locals.

After the Jummah prayers Friday, the Muslim community of the area had demonstrated demanding his arrest and punishment. Hasan had fled from home following the protests.

His brother Hedayet Islam was also detained in the afternoon and Hasan was later caught from Meghnaghat, police said.

Successive governments in the United Kingdom, both Labour and Conservative have either actively or passively allowed Britain’s police forces to become increasingly politicised and it’s fair to say that politicised police forces, especially ones that are outside the direct control of the citizen, are unlikely to be ones that police all people fairly and impartially. In the UK we do not have the situation that exists in some American states where people can vote for their local law enforcement chiefs and where any politicisation reflects the will of the majority of voters. Instead what we have in the UK is a dangerous mess where politicised officers, most notably senior officers with a very left wing and pro Islam bias, are favoured or even imposed on forces by central government.

These senior officers then become almost a law unto themselves promoting their own political hobby horses often to the detriment of both normal policing and the freedom of the citizen. Unlike our American cousins we cannot get rid of bad senior police officers via the ballot box such as the likes of Chief Constable Dave Thompson of West Midlands Police whose force has a ‘non prosecution’ policy over female genital mutilation and who is open to the idea of cops in burkhas. Only the government or an internal police disciplinary procedure can remove the likes of Thompson from their positions and they can continue to impose their dodgy and destructive policies on their forces without too much hindrance.

If we do not turn out and vote for Parliamentary candidates who will promise faithfully to take the politics and the resulting Islamopandering out of our police forces, then we may well end up with officers who will not look at the situation in Bangladesh as an awful assault on freedom. We might instead end up with police officers who will salivate at the prospect of imposing Islamic blasphemy standards on everyone whom they have jurisdiction over, whether the citizen be Muslim or not.

  1. It is certainly heading that way.We also have an increasing number of high ranking muslims in the police who inevitably push a pro sharia agenda!
