Audio – Fahrenheit 211 editor discusses the problems with interfaith dialogue

On Monday 9th of April I appeared on Kel’s show on Red Fox Radio. We discussed among other things different styles of activism and whether the sort of ‘in yer face’ counterjihad activism undertaken by the likes of Britain First in the UK and Sandra Solomon in Canada, could be both counterproductive and give Islamic grievance mongers something genuine (for a change) to whine about.

We also had an in-depth discussion on the issue of interfaith dialogue and the danger of including within this dialogue, representatives of ideologies such as Islam, that have a reputation for being less than 100% honest about their paths theology, history or relationship with other faith members. We chatted about how naïve people, from all faiths, those who I called the ‘Nice But Dim’s’ in an article on here a while back, could well be manipulated by crafty Islamic interfaith group members, into lowering their guard with regards Islam, when in reality they should be raising it.

This was a really interesting discussion about the value of and potential dangers of interfaith work and one I immensely enjoyed taking part in. You can listen the the programme via the link below.
