Guest Post -Mermaids? More like Gargoyles

As the parent of a child who may well be attending primary school soon I am becoming increasingly concerned about what is going on in our children’s schools. I’m especially concerned about the sort of dangerous freak show that some headteachers and the Department of Education are turning our schools into. The sort of social justice warrior mentality that seems to have taken hold of our educational system has resulted in such educational monstrosities as telling politically correct lies to children such as ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ and that there is no such thing as gender.

As an opponent of bringing in the pseudo-science of gender ideology into schools and the parent of a son, I have become really worried about the sort of lunatics from the trans movement that schools are inviting in in order to influence the children. I was therefore delighted to receive this Guest Post submission from ‘Tranny’ about the issue of ‘Mermaids’ a group that I can quite happily and truthfully call a bunch of child abusers because of the guff that they are promoting to our children.

I have to say at this point that I have never had any issue with adults over the age of 21 consenting to mutilating themselves or engaging in whatever body modification that they choose. Where I have a problem is with groups like Mermaids that have a particular gender agenda having any influence over our children at all. This group is engaging in what is fair to say is brainwashing of children to get them to accept the false and unscientific premise that there are more than two genders and that it is possible for one gender to become the other.

We quite rightly look back with disgust at the sort of brainwashing of children, sometimes to even act as informers against their parents, that went on in the Soviet sphere of influence or in Nazi Germany. If we are disgusted by that sort of brainwashing that happened in the past then we should be even more disgusted that groups like Mermaids are brainwashing our children into what could be a life of unhappiness, mutilation, sterility and suicide. I want to protect my child from groups like Mermaids and I will move heaven and earth to do that, in fact every parent should want to keep these fraggles away from their kids. After reading Tranny’s article, I feel that Home Schooling my child is looking more and more attractive an idea by the day. Tranny is correct, this ‘Mermaids’ group really are a bunch of horrific and dangerous gargoyles who should never in a million years be allowed anywhere near vulnerable children.

Mermaids? More like gargoyles.

I grew up in a house full of women – a matriarchy. I loved my mother and my elder sisters, the eldest in particular. She was a beauty. Lush lips, long flowing hair, beautiful eyes with arched brows, and high cheekbones. I wanted to look like her. I wanted to be her. I was a boy and I played with girls’ toys. I knew I was a boy who would one day grow up to be a man. And I was equally aware that my sisters would grow up to be women. I regretted this. If a fairy-godmother could have waved a wand and turned me into a girl then I would have said “Yes, please” without hesitation.

The language of surgery and hormones wasn’t available in the industrial days of my youth, and if I had been offered hormone suppressants I’ve no idea if I would have said yes or no. It’s all supposition. I went through puberty happily enough and enjoyed being an androgynous youth. I’m happy being a man today, and I identify as a man trapped in a woman’s dress. I understand that I have a penis and I see it every day. For me to think I am anything other than a man would be verging on delusional. I wouldn’t even wave a wand or go under an anaesthetic today because it would take a wand, and only a wand, to transform me into a real woman. Surgery would remove my penis. Hormones would suppress my testosterone, soften my skin and give me some breasts, but my face would remain blokeish, my shoulders wide, my hands large. I stand at 6 feet tall. It’s not a common height for a woman who isn’t strutting her stuff on a catwalk, and my height would have announced my dysphoria to the world. The surgery would also need to have been ongoing, reshaping me into something my own family and gene-pool wouldn’t recognise.

Our bodies are a language written in genetic code. Mother nature, in her infinite wisdom, signs everyone off in a series of X’s and Y’s. Occasionally there are blips. Sometimes she’s been drunk or hungover or under the weather. Autopsies reveal intersex men who had no idea that they lived their lives with a set of ovaries, or women whose clitorises are very tiny penises. In yesteryear they were hermaphrodites, making a living at the circus or the freak-show. Stood in a cage, getting stared at all day. I’m not sure I’d be up for that. Maybe if the pay was okay and perhaps for a couple of years if it came with a free and unlimited supply of booze.

There is a drive just now to have drag-queens enter UK primary schools and read stories to children. I’m okay with this. As a child I loved reading the tales collected by the Grimm brothers and I had a very vivid imagination, and what child doesn’t love a good pantomime? If a drag-queen came to my primary school to read a story to my class I would have seen him as a character in a fairy-tale. But that’s not what’s happening in our schools today. The drag-queens are coming in and lecturing children on gender-identity, telling young developing minds that gender is fluid and you can be a boy one day and a girl the next. This is nonsense and I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of the headmasters of any school that allows this abuse to take place.

Drag-queens aren’t known for being demure. Drag-queens are known as being clowns for gays. They exist to entertain and their humour is very adult and what comes out of their mouths is generally pure filth. Their names also aren’t suggestive of a person to aspire to. Some examples would be Anita Koch (I need a cock), Phillipa Hole (fill up a hole), Ma Fannyburns (self-explanatory), or Crystal Metheny (drug-lover). Who are these people to be educating children on gender? They are drag-queens. They are not transexuals. They are not even mental health professionals. And why do children of primary-school age need to know about these things? Research has shown that an overwhelming majority of children who feel that they have gender-identity issues are all happy with their assigned birth gender if they are allowed to go through puberty naturally.

This whole gender-identity and gender-fluidity nonsense is so bad that a charitable organisation called Mermaids has been set up to advise teachers on how best to deal with children who are struggling with their gender-identity. You would think there was an epidemic underway by the levels of hysteria coming out of the political arm of the LGB (I refuse to include T into that mix) and the amount of funding they are getting. I was bullied as a child. Bullying is wrong and I’m a strong advocate today in standing up against anyone being bullied for whatever reason. But I also feel that telling children that gender-fluidity exists is a form of bullying and brainwashing. It’s also a lie. A man has no idea what it might feel like to be a woman and vice versa. A man might like the way a particular type of woman looks and would like to feel the way he THINKS she feels, but it is entirely impossible to feel that you are the opposite gender from what you are. It is unquantifiable.

There is no way on God’s green earth that a man can claim to know what it feels like to be a woman trapped in a man’s body. As much time as I spent with my sisters, and as much as I loved them and knew them by heart, and as much as I wanted to be and look like my eldest sister, I absolutely 100% could not claim to know what she felt like or what it would have felt like to be her. This gender-fluidity nonsense has to end and children should be encouraged to be happy in their own skin and given as much help and support and love to be the unique individuals that they are. Regrettably, this gender-fluidity movement is being supported by big pharmaceutical companies. There’s money to be made, and if you can afford it then you can have it.

Camille Paglia has a wonderful video in which she explains that all of this accommodation of transgender mania is a sign of cultural collapse and has been throughout history. Link is here
