They could have had ‘Singapore on the Med’ but instead they chose to continue on their death cultish way

The Gaza Strip (image from Wiki). It could have been a new Singapore but it chose destruction and hatred instead.

The tragedy of Gaza is not one for which the fault can be laid at the doors of the Israelis. Israel voluntarily vacated Gaza years ago in a naïve attempt to swap land for peace. In the end the Israelis lost land, there was no peace and the Gazans chose the genocidal nutjobs of Hamas to represent their interests.

The only entities that are to blame for the state of the Gaza terrorist statelet are the Gazans themselves and those whom they have chosen to rule over them. It is the Gazans who aligned themselves with genocidal thugs whose primary motivation is to kill Jews. It is also the Gazans who have never made one solitary serious effort to improve the way they are governed or try to do anything to bring about the sort of lasting peace that would do much to improve the lives of those living in Gaza.

The Gaza strip is in a fortunate geographical position, it is not that far from the mouth of the Suez Canal which could be a factor in making Gaza a useful transhipment point for goods to the Eastern Med area. It could have a major trading partner in the form of Israel and it could release the entrepenurial vigour of Gaza’s young people to bring prosperity. The Gaza Strip has much about it that gives it the capacity to turn it into a type of Singapore on the Med.

Sadly, and mostly this sadness is at least from me, for the ordinary people of Gaza. The Gazans and their government have decided to eschew prosperity, freedom and peace and have instead decided to dig themselves and their people even deeper into hatred and violence. The Gazans and those who mislead them have chosen genocidal Jew-hatred above anything else. They have chosen death over life.

A piece in the Jerusalem Post inspired me to write this piece as it shows the utter and complete violent hatred that the Hamas, the Gazans and the foul ideology that guides them has for their neighbours. It seems that even children’s toys in the form of kites are now being turned into weapons of war by a people who have decided to throw away peace and replace it with violence. The Gazans are being encouraged to celebrate the end of the violent Islamic festival of Ramadan with even more mindless and random violence aimed at Israelis and the Gazans seem to be responding positively to this call for violence. Israel has even to take the reluctant step of cutting off supplies of Helium to Gaza as the Hamas savages were diverting this gas, a vital component of medical diagnostic devices such as MRI scanners, to lift balloons carrying incendiary or explosive devices into Israel.

Gaza is run by savages, populated by those who readily go along with savagery and who mostly follow a religious ideology that is characterised by savage hatreds of all non Muslims. I find it difficult to comprehend how there can ever be peace with a people who will so readily throw away multiple chances of peace and prosperity in favour of mindless hatred? For me the great tragedy of the Gaza situation is that it could all have turned out differently but the Gazans instead chose war over peace.
