I’m normally pretty liberal when it comes to people living near those who are similar to them and I try to apply this attitude across the board. I don’t really mind that much if Catholics want to live near other Catholics or Jews want to live with other Jews or people of Irish descent want to live near those of a similar heritage. I hold this view because free association with those you wish to association with is an important building block of a free and civilised society. None of these groups are particularly hostile to the rest of the country or the rest of the world, they just want to live with that which is familiar and near facilities that suit them.

However, when it comes to Islam I find that I am far less liberal about the idea of the creation of specifically Islamic areas. This is for me primarily down to the nature of Islam itself. Islam is violent, intolerant in the extreme, has little respect for the laws and customs of those outside of Islam and is imbued with the urge to conquer nations and cultures for Islam. Now of course not all Muslims believe this, or behave like this, but in this world ideologies matter and Islam is an ideology just like fascism and communism are. I doubt that every German in the 1930’s wanted to murder Jews and not every Soviet citizen believed that the gulags and purges and everything else that makes up the accursed doctrine of Marxism-Leninism were a good thing, but the ideologies which ran these nations produced enough people who did go along with these sorts of things to make these ideologies problems that needed to be countered.

It is rare indeed that a community of Plymouth Brethren, Haredi Jews, Sikhs or Hindus would pose any significant degree of danger to the nations in which these people live. Yes many of them may keep themselves to themselves and they may to some other people appear odd, but not only is that their right to do so, it also gives the rest of us few problems. We cannot say the same about the Islamic ghettos that are springing up all over Europe. These Islamic ghettos are cesspits of jihad, of hatred for the host community, of massive and unsustainable welfare sponging and are increasingly places where non-Muslims feel unsafe entering.

But, in the morass of politically correct European governments one Western European nation has decided that enough is enough and is trying to break up these dangerous Islamic ghettos and forcibly civilise their inhabitants. Denmark is embarking on an ambitious plan to force Westernisation and civilisation on the inhabitants of the Islamic ghettos that previous Danish governments have allowed to be created.

According to a report on the Vox website, Danish authorities are going to make it a requirement that all children in Islam dominated areas attend at least 25 hours a week of childcare where they will be exposed to Danish customs and Danish culture. This is intended to break the culture of children being kept away from Danish culture by Muslim parents and thereby reduce the hostility and danger that these Islamic ghettos represent.

In Denmark, children over the age of 1 who live in low-income, heavily Muslim immigrant communities that the government classifies as “ghettos” will soon be subject to mandatory training in “Danish values.”

Once children turn 1, they will be required to attend daycare centers for at least 25 hours a week, where they will be taught about the Danish culture and language, including Christian holidays such as Christmas and Easter. If parents refuse to send their children, they could lose their welfare benefits.

The law, which was passed on May 28, is part of a broader government initiative titled “One Denmark without Parallel Societies: No Ghettos in 2030.” The plan aims to eradicate what the Danish government says are “parallel communities” in Denmark that are rife with crime and populated by poor, uneducated immigrants from “non-Western countries” who are not being properly integrated into Danish society.

Of course as can be expected, the Left and various Islamic grievance mongers are whining about t his policy. It has been criticised by Danish people of Muslim origin in the New York Times and has been described by Lefty whingers as ‘targeting Muslims’. Well no shit Sherlock! Is anybody really surprised that the Danish government is targeting a community that is increasingly been seen as hostile to both Danish culture and to the Danish people?

The Danish government want see an end to these hostile ghettos and to be frank I can’t really blame them for wanting to do so. Every country that tolerates these Islamic ghettos has had significant problems with both non integration, with all the obvious problems that causes, and also the very great problems of jihad, welfare poncing and hostility.

I’m normally a believer in the policy of Queen Elizabeth I who said that she did not want to have windows into men’s souls and that is a sound and moral policy. But, when it comes to Islam, because of the backward and violent nature of this religious ideology, the this non interference policy should be abandoned. If we leave Islam alone to fester then it is likely that it will destroy the nations in which it has been transplanted, it is therefore imperative that nations start to play hardball with both Islamic ghettos and the ideology that underpins and sustains them.
