The government of France, like all too many other European governments, has consistently told lies about Islam to their citizens. One of the biggest lies that have been told is that ‘Islam is a religion of peace’. It’s not. Although there may be peaceful Muslim individuals that doesn’t mean that the ideology of Islam is in itself peaceful. It’s not peaceful in the content of its text and is certainly not peaceful in the way that these texts are interpreted.

France’s lie about Islam being a religion of peace was starkly exposed recently by the unveiling of a ten feet high 2.5 inch thick bullet proof glass wall around the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris. This wall is not there to defend against the violent ‘far right’ (in reality a tiny number of people) or to defend against the Germans (again), it is instead to defend the tower from the followers of an ideology that falsely claimed to be peaceful.

Perhaps the best known symbol of France to the world, the Eiffel Tower, will open this month with a new look that leaves some native French very disgruntled.

New walls of “extra clear”, bullet-proof glass, standing 10 ft. high and 2.5 inches thick, will now enclose Paris’s affectionately named ‘Lady of Iron’ on its north and south sides. Metallic walls of curved prongs of equivalent height will encase the other two sides, through which one will have to pass to access the Tower after submitting to security controls.

In addition, 420 blocks are being placed around the Tower to prevent jihadist vehicular attacks like those that occurred in Nice, Barcelona and Berlin. All of which has caused observers to complain the Tower will lose its aesthetic look, resembling now a “fortress.”

It appears that the French, in having to resort to such extreme measures to protect the symbol of their capital city, are a nation that has lost sovereignty over its own land. If the French had not let the cancer of Islam and Islamic extremism grow so much over the last few decades, this shameful wall would never have had to be built. The French government by building this wall have signalled to the world that they cannot even keep their capital city safe from the savagery of Islam. The French government has also by taking these extreme measures comprehensively shown that Islam is not a religion of peace. After all, these walls are not being put up to defend against Methodists or Buddhists are they?
