Now That’s Why Pakistan Is A S***hole volume 94 – Christian girl thrown from window after refusing marriage demand by Muslim sex trafficker

Regular readers of the ‘Pakistan is a shithole’ strand on this blog will be fully aware that the centrality of Islam to Pakistan’s culture, constitution and political life has created, as Islam tends to do, a nightmare situation for the non Muslims and heterodox Muslims of that country. Islam has also created in Pakistan a nation that is, for its female citizens, a harsh prison of misogyny.

As is so often the case with Islamic communities and the cultures that Islam creates, women, and in particular non Muslim women, are treated as commodities by men. Pakistan has an appalling record for misogynistic abuse and murder both within the families and communities of the Pakistani Muslims and oppression that is aimed at non Muslim girls and young women. Pakistan is not a place that any woman, let alone a non-Muslim woman would or should choose to live because Islam has truly created for the women there an oppressive shithole of monstrous proportions.

The latest example of Muslims treating non-Muslim women like dirt comes via an update sent to this blog by members of the British Pakistani Christian Association (BPCA). This is an organisation that fights for the rights of both Pakistani Christians in Britain and those Pakistani Christians who have the misfortune to have to live in Pakistan. They have sent me a most appalling story of how a Muslim sex trafficker in Karachi targeted an 18 year old Christian Pakistani girl for grooming and what is claimed to be proposals of marriage. When the girl rejected the advances of the Muslim sex trafficker the Islamic beast then threw her from a second floor window causing her significant spinal and leg injuries.

Here’s how the BPCA describes this truly horrifying and disgusting attack.

A Karachi-based Christian woman of only 18 was thrown from the second floor building of her own home for refusing to “marry” a local Muslim man who was running a trafficking ring.

BPCA was told about how the man initially made contact with Beenish and her family. Tahir Abbas (22 yrs) who resides in the same city as Beenish became infatuated with the Grade 10 student when he saw her going to school one day. After that he began stalking her and regularly pursued her, however she understood this attention more innocently and because of his persistence she eventually accepted him as a friend because she had the impression that he sincerely liked her.

Feigning love, the resident of Gulstan-e-Johar came to Beenish’s (18) home to propose and then attempted to blackmail her into marriage, after she noticed some suspicious behaviour. At this rejection Tahir became angry and continued to insist that they get married.

Beenish continued to reject his proposition, Tahir pushed the teenager from the second floor to the ground. She was immediately taken to the Jinnah hospital where she was told by doctors that her backbone and leg bones have been displaced and broken.

There are many elements in this story that just scream ‘Islam’. The misogyny, the targeting of a girl outside the Muslim community, the attempts at blackmailing the girl and the extreme violence meted out to the victim because she would not comply with a Muslim man’s demands. This story, and especially the way that Abbas groomed this girl to get her in a position where she might be blackmailed, strikes me as also having a lot of similarities to the modus operandi of the Islamic Rape Gangs that are destroying the lives of thousands upon thousands of British girls. Pakistan may be half a world away from Britain but the Islamic misogyny seems to be as bestial here as it is in Pakistan.

Unlike in some other cases where Pakistani Christians have been made by Muslims into targets for abuse, on this occasion the Muslim savage who threw this girl out of a window has at least been apprehended. According to the report on the BPCA website, Abbas has been apprehended but it took a huge effort on the part of the girl’s family to get the Pakistani police to arrest Abbas. The police, as we could expect from any police in an Islam dominated culture or area, didn’t want to arrest Abbas and appeared to collude with attempts by Abbas to evade justice.

The BPCA added:

When Tahir found out about her medical condition, he bribed the hospital administration members to hide her medical report. When Beenish’s parents gave an application to police station in order to register an FIR against Tahir about this incident, they were harassed for their efforts to hold a known criminal accountable. The police, initially supported Tahir’s attempt to avoid justice and pressured the family to withdraw the application, but finally the FIR was registered and Tahir was arrested.

Remarkable this case has drawn the attention of some in the wider community. A statement by Muslim social activist Jibran Nisar identifies the perpetrator as the ring leader of a trafficking grooming gang that lures young woman with promises of marriage in order to trap them with criminal intent in mind. In his statement to the press he said the gang is connected to a political party that welds a lot of power over people in the area.

Kudos to Mr Jibran Nisar should be given at this point for speaking out against this attack and drawing the public’s attention to the alleged criminal and sex trafficking connections of Abbas. Unlike so many other Pakistani Muslims Mr Nisar has chosen to speak truth to power over this issue. I suspect that the involvement in this case of Mr Nisar, who as a social action activist has taken on some of Pakistan’s most gruesome Islamic hate preachers, may assist the victims family in actually getting the Pakistani police to do something about Abbas. It seems that the Pakistani police were quite prepared to turn a blind eye to the activities of Abbas and his gang, including this appalling attack, until the family of the victim pressed the matter and Mr Nisar became involved. Other non-Muslim families in Pakistan, ones without high profile support or the strength of will that the victims family have shown in this case, may not be so lucky in how they are treated by the Pakistani Police.

Endemic corruption and endemic Islam has turned Pakistan from what could once have been a viable and reasonably well run state into a hell hole of crime, hatred, misogyny, injustice and violence. Pakistan is what we who are opposed to Islam should point to when asked for an example of how Islam can destroy a nation. We even have a ‘control’ nation in the form of India to compare Pakistan with. Both these nations became independent from the British Empire at roughly the same time and although they were both struck by the tragedy and upheaval of Partition, Hindu majority India has gone on too become a regional economic, scientific and cultural powerhouse. Pakistan on the other hand has, mostly I believe because of the exalted position of Islam in Pakistani society and governance. Pakistan has since independence rapidly descended into a hell on earth for women, religious minorities and heterodox Muslims. Pakistan is the sort of shithole where Christian women can be thrown out of windows for refusing to be groomed, ripped off or trafficked and it is a shithole like this primarily because of Islam. ‘Religion of peace’? Don’t make me laugh.
